This bed had a "million" pieces but there were no problems putting it together. A suggestion if you are putting it together by yourself you are going to need a small chair or footstool to balance the frame on when you have to slide the side rails together. Other than that it is very sturdy. I wish that the headboard was taller because I have a boxspring and mattress and with pillows on the bed, you can't really see the headboard as pictured. I purchased this bed because I wanted something black to replace the white IKEA bed I had previously, as it disappeared into the light colored walls. It was very easy to put together, and very well-made. The previously mentioned IKEA bed was not nearly as well made as this. The only thing I find confusing, is how do they make their quilt look so nice at the corners? Mine looks like a rumpled up mess LOL!! Overall I am very, very pleased with this bed!! ... show more

Set it up in an hour or two. Easy to put together, seems sturdy. My son needed a new frame, and this one was a great price. I had no bent parts or wobbles. Everything was there and it all fit perfectly. Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far I'm very happy with it.
