It's non-toxic, tough, and stays slick as a whistle! Pro Tips: Never use Pam or any spray oil on the pan. Pour in the oil, and use a basting brush to spread it. Sometimes, the pan may get a bit sticky if you burn food on--a cleaning with baking soda or Softsoap will restore it's nonstick properties.

The sides could have been an inch higher. This would be a better skillet if a bit deeper. Having said that, it's a good skillet, and my only MAJOR complaint (c'mon TFal) is no side handle. Almost every large skillet I have had in recent years has had a handle, which makes picking up a hot, heavy, full skillet much easier (or in and out of the over). Such a simple thing left off that would get this to five stars! ... show more

I have used T-fal for years. They aren't the best, but they are not the worst. They don't last much more then 3 years, but nothing else in this Country does either. I like them.

I have only had the opportunity to use the pan once.. it heated well and evenly. Was a bit surprised by instructions that tell you to keep the heat at medium or below, but after reading it made sense. I used it to brown some butternut squash/brussels sprout hash which I would normally have done over high heat, but I kept it to medium and the pan did a great job of browning without sticking. My only complaint is that the bottom of the pan isn't flat, it came slightly warped (but still useable). ... show more
