This review pertains to the Sylvox 22" Smart RV TV. I received this product two days ago, powered it up and went through very little steps to turn this TV into a great all-around experience. The picture is good; the sound is OK but "tinny." To counteract this as much as possible, I found that keeping the sound mode at "standard" and the surround mode "off," you can buffer some of that out and still get good quality sound. Also, there is plenty of ability to make this TV as loud as you want. The DC player works great and picture is also good. You can easily toggle between the four apps on the remote and return to regular TV with one click. I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase. ... show more

Works better than Free Signal TV Brand. I feel the apps, picture and even sound is better. However, the sound is not the greatest. The DVD player works unlike the other brand I previously purchased even though it's the same exact player. This TV and the Free Signal brand is very similar in appearance, picture quality and sound. Purchased this tv and it came with a crack on the side. It was working great and thought i might just keep it, but decided to report the damage to the company. Provided a pic of the damage and the box, and they sent a new TV and a free return voucher for the old cracked one - put this in our boat and we are loving it - DC power can be used at the dock or on the water - picks up phone hot spots and Bluetooth to boat speakers for a cinematic experience! ... show more

I had problems setting this up to connect with my cable service and it took a dozen calls and 24 hours before anyone answered my call. Further, the phone number for support in all their literature is incorrect, and I was only able to get the call to be answered at all was via email. If it had not been for my son coming to my rescue, I'd still be waiting for further help because they asked me to send pictures so they could visualize the back of their TV and my cable box that I was trying to connect to. Picture and sound appear to be just fine, but don't expect a responsive support department (which is likely from another country). The support is the main reason I gave this only one star as I was ready to send this back just waiting to reach someone in support. ... show more

I bought this Smart TV to use in our camper, because of the 12v function, and the built in DVD, since most of our trips are in the mountains where there is no cell service or WiFi. Unfortunately, after 3 trips in the camper, the DVD stopped ejecting the disc. After a couple of emails to the manufacturer, Leah at Sylvox expedited the delivery of a new one. We purchased two Sylvox TV’s for our Motorhome from Amazon – a 24” and 32”. During our first camping trip, the 24” TV was found to be defective as it would not play any DVD’s (when a DVD was inserted, a loud humming noise was heard…the screen said “Reading” and then the DVD would just eject. Several different DVD’s were tried in the unit and all were ejected. The same DVD’s worked fine in the larger 32” TV). I sent an e-mail to Sylvox on Sunday, 5/26/24, to advise of the issue and received a response, on Monday, 5/27/24, a Holiday! It was requested I take a short video of the issue and email it back for review, which I did. I then received another email advising a replacement was on its way - I received it on 6/3/24. Thank you Leeke Lee in After Sales Service for the quick response and ease of getting my replacement. It’s been quite some time since I can remember such great customer service! ... show more

We bought this for our RV and the sound level is terrible. We’ve tried listening to it thru the Bluetooth speakers and just the TV and it just will NOT get loud enough to watch something. Unless you are sitting just two feet in front of the TV you’re going to have a hard time hearing it. Terribly disappointed… especially for the price! ... show more
