My wife is form. Bling and looks. I'm function. Welded frame, four leg, fix frame aluminum chairs. She won. These chairs were not my choice. That said, we ordered two sets of four chairs. Eight total. Per chair price was $84 before tax. For $84 chairs I give them 4 stars so far. Time will tell. I'm a retired mechanical engineer. I fabricate with wood, steel, fabric, etc. Based on my experience, I'm happy with the purchase. We ordered the white fabric with gold anodized metal frames. Design wise, everything is good except there is no positive fastener holding the lower pedestal to the base plate. it's just a friction fit. That will wear with use, causing the chair to be more wobbly. Also, the pedestal can come out of the base so moving the chair on the floor must be done with a little caution. There is a rubber thin circular gasket, which appears to be glued to the bottom perimeter of the base. Long term durability questionable if the chair is repositioned on the floor a lot. But, for occasional use, and at a low price, it's OK. Fabric is more a pinkish grey white. Not pure white. The critical item, the gas height adjustment shock cylinder seems well made. Height adjustment is easy. Anodizing is very good, but three of eight chairs had some minor scratches showing the beginning of rust. We wiped them vigorously with a cloth with a little oil to minimize oxidation. Overall, we are OK with these blemishes. The footrests are welded at the two joints. However, a 250+ pound person pushing down trying to lift themself to a high positioned seat could break the weld. Caution there. Footrest placement is too close to the seat for large people to use. I'm 6'1" and it's a significant knee bend for me. Overall, for $84, and our anticipated occasional use, and - if it's bling over function - we would recommend. They are nice looking. Cushioning (seat and back) comfortable. Smooth swivel action. I just can't wait for the 1st spill of red wine on a seat.

These chairs are so beautiful and they were picked by my wife for our new apartment. Because of where our TV is positioned, my wife has preferred for a long time to stand and eat at our kitchen island to have a clear straight view of the TV. She found these on Amazon and ordered them. She loves them! Great thing about them is that they are actually very comfortable to sit in unlike other chairs that look great but are extremely hard to sit on after a while. Honestly these are great! Easy set up and they look really nice. Perfect compliment for our space.
