I'm 5'2" -- not super short, but shorter than the average. The seat height only goes so low, so my feet don't touch the floor and dangle like a little kid. That won't work in the long run, making the purchase of a footrest necessary. The back section does not go up or down, so my shoulders are hitting a seam between the headrest area and the back. Super uncomfortable. I'm not sure I'll keep it with these two major problems. If I were a couple inches taller, it would be a great office chair.

I am a business owner and my wife works out of our home. Our homestead is 58 miles from my Corporate Offices. I spend every other day at my home office. M-W-F then Tue-Thur the following week. We recently obtained a nice chair for my wife's new desk and the chair that I had was ready to give up the ghost, so I went on a search for something that would go with my back that has been operated on 6 times. When I am sitting, I am in the least amount of discomfort, as long as the chair wasn't designed at the local Rock Quarry. I have had some unpleasant experiences with Office Chairs in the past. Thus the reason that mine is so old. I had not found one that would do the trick. What caught my eye with this chair is the size along with the fabric. The cushions looked very similar to the ones on my old chair, so I ordered it. The chair was a breeze to assemble. My wife and I had it together in less than 20 minutes. I like the way that it is put together. As I said, I have had some really bad experiences with some of these office chairs that are out there with my businesses. I probably have 40 of these type chairs at my office. The real test was finally sitting in it. What I noticed right off the bat was the lack of a "Lumbar Bump", or that raised area in the Lumbar area of the chair that supports your lower back. Believe it or not, this is a selling point for me...the lack of a Lumbar Bump. With the surgeries that I have had, I have a special pillow that goes behind me in chairs that I sit in long-term that is incompatible with a raised lumbar area. If I try to use it with one, it pushed the pillow out much too far. The chair is very comfortable to me and does not make me feel "encapsulated" because the seat is so wide. I like the flip-up armrests and they fall in the perfect position for me. I really like this chair. If you are looking for a very comfortable, well-built chair for your Home Office or your Business Office, this is a great choice. It is visually attractive, ergonomically designed and fits office decor perfectly. 5 Stars

I'm a tall guy, and this chair is pretty good for my height (6'1"). I think it would work nicely for someone a bit shorter or taller than me. The padding is adequate, and the arms flip up so that I can store it under my desk. Putting the chair together wasn't too hard. It took me about 15 minutes and I'm not a very handy person.

I have been looking for an office chair that along with the usual features of a swivel seat, up and down rise, and moveable arm rests, the option to rock back. This chair had it all and had the bonus of being nicely padded with a deep, tall back that is amply cushioned on either side and at the head, as well as a very generously wide seat. The chair came with very easy to follow directions and all of the necessary tools, of course. It took me just about an hour to put together but, that was due to being on my own and having the trickiest step completed with attaching the back that took me a bit of time. Overall, I could not have asked for an easier chair to construct. The pieces all feel and appear sturdy and well made and fit together without any trouble; in other words, all of the bolt holes were lined up and made for quick work of inserting and tightening. Everything functions exactly as expected and smoothly so. The seat is very comfortable as well as the arm rests. I have used them in the up, down and one up, one down position on my first day and they all work for me well. I work 7 hours in my chair and got up feeling no ill effects. My thighs and hips felt great for a change of pace! The color does appear black as shown in the first two photos but, as you get a closer view, you can see the mottled brown look as in the last photo. It still looks black to me under my light at all times during my work day, however. I plan to look for a cover/covers for the seat and arms at a minimum for protection anyway. Absolutely would get this again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable yet attractive option and especially if you love to rock back like I do. I can’t say how great it was to be able to do that on my first day of use and to stretch out my arms while doing so. Quite invigorating!

This office chair is replacing my comparably priced old home office chair, which says a lot about my opinion of it. The first thing I looked for was whether the height adjustment mechanism will hold my weight without dropping involuntarily as my old chair did. And it does hold my weight. The adjust mechanism is inconveniently placed. The cushion is thick and soft at the same time. The faux leather cover looks luxurious and eye-catching grain, but I still can't get a certain unpleasant smell out of it even setting it up and using it for a few days now. The swivel handle is also a welcomed feature my old chair did not have. Also, the lumber is not as supportive as I would have liked, but it's not bad. One last thing I like about the chair is that setup was easy with the provided t-shaped screwdriver.
