Description

How quickly does this ice maker produce the first batch of ice? The first batch of bullet ice takes about 6–8 minutes. Daily production is 26 lbs under normal room temperature conditions. You can also choose between small or large ice sizes using the selection button. How does the machine tell me when it needs water or when the ice basket is full? The control panel has dedicated indicator lights: the water shortage light tells you to refill the water tank, and the ice full light causes the machine to stop automatically until you remove some ice. Does it have any safety features, and how do I clean it? Yes – a compressor overheat protection activates at 70°C (158°F) to prevent damage. For cleaning, use the Self-Cleaning Mode – the machine circulates water to flush internal lines. The ice basket and water tank are removable for easy manual cleaning. This countertop ice maker is the right size for my counter. It was amazingly fast making ice cubes after the first batch. I was surprised at how much ice it made with just one container full of water! It was pretty quite too.

TERRIBLE!!! This is our 7th day having this sorry excuse for an ice maker and it’s been acting up constantly. The issues started a few days before today. It was fine at first. The ice was great, the noise level was pretty low, it made ice pretty quickly, and so forth. The ice melts kinda fast but that didn’t bother me too much because it was long enough for me to enjoy it. The 4th or 5th day in, issues began. It doesn’t want to make ice, the ice would freeze together on the medal rods and remain stuck, and the “ice full” light would come on when there is NO ICE in the tray. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and need ice and iced water like crazy. I’m not gonna keep unplugging, restarting, flushing, and otherwise playing with this brick of a machine. I’m returning it and getting a different brand. Do NOT buy this joke of an ice machine! Save your money! ... show more

Great ice maker for its price. Makes plenty of ice that you can store in the freezer afterwards. Being portable is a plus too; you can make ice on the go, just have a power source to plug it into.
