I bought these for my husband. He's always had hearing problems, because he works in a diesel mechanic's shop. He kept wondering how a certain product worked but didn't want to spend the money. So, I found these, and thought they were affordable enough to at least give them a try. The first day he wore them he said there was some major buzzing in his ear. Each time he has wore them they've gotten better, but can still hear a ''little'' buzzing. Nothing like the ''crickets'' he heard our entire married life(40 years!) He wore them to a local restaurant one afternoon, and after sitting there a few minutes(maybe three), his eyes got big and he told me ''It's LOUD in here!" I just started laughing because it's a popular place and always busy and loud, but that was the first he'd heard the noise. So, for the money I paid, I'm happy with them. He is happy he can now hear the tv at the volume I LIKE, and so am I. The only reason, I didn't give 4 stars, was because of the small amount of buzzing. Maybe it will go away, but he said that's a small thing compared to the fact that he can hear things now. So, We're satisfied. Thank you for a good product! ... show more

Unfortunately these hearing aids no longer work so will need to look for another pair. I used them less than 10 times in meetings so disappointed they didn't last longer. Worked ok, but not easy to get the right volume.

I sent back. They amplified sound. the tv was louder. So was running water in the sink or other everyday noises. they did not seem to help suppress background noise at all. My worst problem is tinnitus. It did nothing for that. They were delivered on time and my return was credited back in a timely manner. ... show more

    • Doesn’t last very long
I bought these to help hear better. At first they worked good , then one stopped working, said it was charged . I could hear with one. But now it only charges for .,7-8 hrs.

These are not hearing aids, they are hearing amplifiers. They boost everything, from dropping a spoon to birds outside. I am using them just for the television, normal conversation does not work exactly in the manner in which I wish it would. Putting dog food in the dog dish is really loud, hurtfully so. These hearing aids are great! I just got them today, so I was hesitant to give them a 5. I have about 60% hearing in my left ear, so I needed something that wasn't too loud. This aid fits great and is perfect. Also, it doesn't have the metallic ringing that I have heard in others. Thumbs up!
