I am more than pleased with my purchase. But here are a few things to consider: 1. The boxes that contain the frames are heavy and require two people to lift. I am not a very strong person and we have two flights of stairs, so we had to hire movers to assist with placing them inside of our platform bed. But once this was done assembly was easy. Almost two easy. 2. The insert isn’t much of an assembly guide, if at all. I looked at the picture and that’s how I figured out how to assemble the legs. 3. There are USB ports underneath the bed. So friggin cool. 4. I forgot to buy sheets. I have 2 twin xls…I used flat sheets to ghouls me over. Order bedding! ;) 5. If you own a bed with under storage, you will need to either buy a new bed or have openings around your bed. I removed our drawers and plan on detaching the front so that could then glue the drawer front around the opening. The openings don’t look “bad”. But they don’t look good either. ... show more

We have been wanting this typenof bed for years ... could not afford the 4k-10k depending on where u went and what size/type bed you desire ... we figure go big or go home and as it's an investment we will prob be going big ... just happen to sure for bed and found this maker ... never heard of them before ... did utube and took a leap of faith ... we got the 14" mattress but truthfully you could be OK with 12" cause they are so plush ... we have the split king (2-twinxl) had they are spectacular ... we spent $2066.00 that included 2 remotes, 2 14" mattresses & all the bells and whistles of vibration, head & foot elevation (see remote photo)...God is Good cause I would never had thought I could find this w/features at this price ... did not pay for assembly ... biggest thing was getting to 2nd floor but set up is easy ... the head/foot board from amazon also $approx 300.00 ... what a bargain for me ... I will admit that I was hesitant to purchase such an expensive item without actually trying it out and knowing if I would like it, but after reading all the reviews and a LOT of extensive research on these types of beds, I felt confident. It arrived sooner than expected, which was great because we were moving into a new place and didn't place the order for it until we signed the papers. It ended up arriving two days after we took ownership and it was 4 days earlier than expected. I will start with putting it together, my husband had to use the hand truck to take the boxes upstairs because they are very heavy. Once my husband got everything out and ready to assemble, he was done within half an hour. I am a bit worried because after he had it all together and there were no parts left over I noticed that there is a gap in between our mattresses. I asked him if he connected the bar that attaches them together and he said that there was nothing like that and there was nothing in the instructions regarding that either. I am not overly concerned since we have been sleeping (and other things) on it for almost two weeks now and it doesn't seem to be an issue. The remote control is nice to have on each side of the bed, although I would like to have control over my husband's side since when he snores I have to get up and walk around the bed to his night table and raise his head! I ended up only having to do that once and since then, he just automatically puts it in that position when he comes to bed. I wear a sleep mask and as I am getting into bed I always take my glasses off and put the on my forehead so that I can just slide the mask down, I grab the remote and bring my legs up and my head just a touch and then pull my mask down and it's off to slumberland in minutes. As for the lights under the bed, my husband seems to be more impressed with them than I am. I guess since I sleep with a mask I don't really need the light! It's nice for our Yorkie who will sometimes get up during the night to go to the bathroom on his mat and then he climbs his little stairs back up to bed. Now, for the massage - It is not a massage with a rolling bar like in the mall but it really does sooth me and it actually helped with me having spasms throughout the night. We both agree that is the perfect amount and it is not loud so it's not disturbing. And the most important part, the comfort. I love this bed, period. I was nervous because it was a long time that I spent researching and then convincing my husband that this was the one that we needed. He snores and since I had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer two years ago, the treatments and the ongoing therapy that I am doing cause me to have problems with my knees and hips. So, while my husband needs his head lifted so his snoring stops and I need to have my legs up for my joints and my heart. This bed fits the bill on both of these, but any King adjustable would do that. I spent hours reading reviews on this one and then went to other sites and got reviews/opinions of Sven & Son. We are both truly overjoyed with this purchase. Neither of us have had issues with getting a great nights sleep now that we have this gem. And for the price, trust me, I tried some in furniture stores that carry other brands and I was not impressed. I had this bed on my Wish list for almost a year before we got it. I did not want to forget the choice I had made once I had made my decision. Overall, the entire decision was the best choice we could have made. No regrets. ... show more

Size: King Style: Adjustable Base Only
This says a 5 min setup but took us (2 people) about 20-30 mins. It is super heavy (king size) and unless you’re the Hulk, get help to move it to where you want! We positioned the box and slid out the frame. Everything you need is included and attached nicely (legs, remote) during shipping and easy to find for setup. 3 different heights are offered by the choice of legs. We went super high but will be lowering it by one. Motors are small but powerful, so it seems it would fit within a bed frame very nicely, but check it out for yourself. The only addition to the remote I would ask for would be for it to be lighted. It does light briefly when you press a button and has a button to use as a light but the actual remote isn’t lighted which makes it difficult to use in a dark room. Haven’t had a problem with mattress sliding, the foot bar helps with that. All positions are just great. I checked out all different adjustable beds before this one and this one does seem to have the highest lift for the foot area and head. I love that! Super easy to use. We sleep better being able to adjust our head and feet. You can’t go wrong with this baby. ... show more

Delivery was a bit of a hassle since we have a steep driveway and they only use an 18 wheeler. hahaha. However, we love the bed. Not sure how long the mattress will hold up but am really enjoying the features. Becareful to check the wires to besure that they are going to allow the bed to move properly. We had to unhook a wire that would probably have broke because it wasn't assembled in a manner that would have allowed full movement. It made noise at first but with use it seemed to settle down and we hardly notice it. Love that each of us can read and move about w/o disturbing the other. We didn't get the wall hugger one because a previous review of both types of beds said it wasn't worth it. I'm just over 5 feet tall had have no trouble reaching back for my water, etc. w/o the wall hugger feature. The massage feature is laughable, so don't buy it if that's important to you.
