I recently purchased a Sven & Son's Essentials Queen size bed. I was initially very impressed with the price and fast delivery. When we started to assemble the base the instructions were almost non existent and the instructions that were provided were confusing. After finally getting the bed assembled it seemed to work pretty well except for the fact that the mattress would slide and sometimes go up above the slide bar at the foot of the bed. I was having to push the mattress back into place nearly every morning. Unfortunately, about a month after the purchase I dropped the remote in water and attempted everything to dry it out but it would not work. I went to the Sven & Son's website and found remotes on sale for $39.95 down from $70. I searched every remote available and none were like the one I had. I had to send an email to the contact us address and received a reply that included a phone number. When I called I was directed back to the website and then to a SleepGeekz website to purchase a new remote. I explained to them that none of the models shown was like mine. I was told it had to be because those were the only remotes they made. I took a picture of my remote and sent it to them. The girl told me she would have to speak to her supervisor and then I was told I would have to speak to the warranty company but it would be Monday before anything could be done. On Monday the warranty company did contact me but the person was somewhat curt and impolite. I was told I could purchase a new remote for $55 + $13 shipping. She said she would send me an invoice and once it was paid they would ship it out. I asked if I could just give her the card number and get it taken care of. I was told NO they don't do business that way. I received the invoice the following day. I immediately paid it. I was very irritated that the shipping was the US Mail. I kept feeling velcro on the underneath side of the base and thought perhaps we had assembled it wrong because of the poor instructions. I thought that perhaps the velcro was supposed to prevent the mattress from sliding. We tried turning the panels over but they would not fit. We finally called and was told that the velco was for the optional cover. The cover could be purchased for an additional $60 and served no purpose other than looks. Overall I do like the bed but the company just doesn't seem to be very customer friendly.

The bed is easy to assemble if placed on it's side and not on its back. It basically is screwing in the six legs and connecting the remote mechanisms. The mattress is so super soft. I bought this for someone else and I wish this was my mattress. I can't explain the comfort and firmness at the same time. You literally sink and mold into this bed. I am so glad I bought this set. For someone who is in discomfort this is a great purchase

We purchased the queen essential series in April of 2023. Initially quite pleased. Frame was quiet and worked as advertised. Mattress was very comfortable. Out of the 25 months we owned this mattress approximately 7 months it was not used because of extended vacations. After this last vacation we noticed lots of lumps and low spots that got progressively worse making for a long uncomfortable night. We turned it 180 degrees. Made problem worse. Now I have another new Mattress sitting on the frame and am getting good sleep again. Very happy watching old one being hauled to reclamation.
