  • Excellent adjustable for the price!
Size: Split King Style: Adjustable Base + 14" Medium Soft
We looked at many adjustable beds before deciding on this one, but I'm so glad we chose this. It is a wonderful bed! The adjustable base is great for my severe, chronic back pain (that zero G setting feels like heaven on my bad days), and it helps my husband with his hiatal hernia and acid reflux (we're a mess lol), not to mention snoring! Plus, it's great to be able to sit up to read in bed. We went with the 14" hybrid mattress, which is great. It has the softness and cushion of the foam mattresses, but the underlying support of the innerspring (I like a softer mattress because my hip bones get sore if it's too firm, but my husband likes a firmer one... this is a nice compromise, and neither of us has any complaints). We received the bed within a week of ordering. Assembly is easy...the directions are very clear. The mattresses are heavy, so it took both of us to heft them on, and about 24 hrs for them to recover their full height. There was little off-gassing; other than the smell of the plastic they were wrapped in, they didn't smell much at all. We bought the bed in April, so we've used it for 4 months now. We haven't had any issue with the mechanics (the remotes and bases are still working perfectly). I'll update if something breaks, but so far everything is going well. The mattresses are uber comfy! I'm glad I chose these instead of trying to find others... these are perfect for us. I have owned high end beds (I had a Sleep Number a few years ago, but the controls kept going out), and cheaper Costco memory foam mattresses. No mattress has been such a nice balance of softness and support. They are not hot (I sleep hot, and I hated my first memory foam mattress because of that). They are very thick. I have to make sure I buy deep pocket sheets (it uses twin XL). Our one complaint is that the bed, combined with the mattresses, is very high off the floor for our smaller dog (the legs are 12", and the mattress 14"). I contacted the company, but the only other option is 4" legs (you can order those from them), and that would make it lower than is comfortable for me to make the bed with my bad back. Something in the 6-8" range would be ideal. On that note, I suggest a bedskirt with this because it looks a little cheap without one (the legs are solid, but just welded metal). The good thing about it being so high is there's plenty of underbed storage! My only other suggestion is that the mattresses do move around a bit. They sell side supports that keep them straight (the bed comes with the ones for the foot already). I have been fine with just pushing them back on the 1-2" they might move overnight when I make the bed each morning because they slide easily. I like being able to just slide them apart when I change the sheets... it's so much easier than trying to shove the fitted sheets on in between the mattresses...so I opted not to buy the side retainers, but if it bothers you, those are available. We opted not to use this with a bed frame; instead, we had a headboard made that mounts directly to the wall. This makes it much easier to clean under, IMO. King comforters fit well, but they can have different lengths, so mind the measurements and err on the side of larger...these thick mattresses mean a longer/wider blanket is in order. We also opted for a large flat sheet (king), but individual twin XL blankets because I had trouble finding a blanket large enough for both of us. Comforters and duvets are more widely available in different sizes. I would definitely recommend this bed, especially at this price point. I'm happier with it than any other bed I've owned. Fwiw, I contacted the company about shorter legs and they responded within 24 hours, and were very helpful, so there is service after the sale here. We are very satisfied (and well-rested) customers. ... show more

  • Best sleep I have ever had!
Size: Split King Style: Adjustable Base + 14" Medium Soft
This bed was well worth the money! The reclining positions have relieved my chronic bedtime backaches. We had a handy friend come over and put the split kings together. It took him about an hour. It did take 2 people. The mattress is medium firm and just right. The split king allows us to have different positions during the night. Easy to use remote. Bought 2 twin XL sheets which fit perfectly. If you are dragging your feet- don’t. It’s a great bed. And there are not a lot of beds for this price. It was delivered in about 8 days all in one delivery. The boxes are heavy so make sure 2 people or a dolly cart to bring in (we tipped the driver to bring it into our house for us). ... show more

  • works very well for my back and is good quality
Size: Split King Style: Adjustable Base + 10" Firm
My wife and I needed a divided king side bed because she likes her head less elevated than me, and we started looking everywhere, until I found this bed and mattress and we decided on it, the delivery was on time, Even a day before, three boxes arrived, the bases in two separate boxes and the mattress, double twins, in a single box, I was even surprised that for the metal bases there were two boxes and for the two twin mattresses one box, I contacted with customer service by email and they immediately responded telling me that the two twin mattresses were in the same box and they were. The assembly of everything was easy, the guide is very clear and with good descriptive images, just put the wooden bases on the metal base and secure them with some special bolts included and connect the cables and that was all it took me and a friend about 20 minutes approximately. As it is a king side bed divided into two twins, it comes with two remote controls, one for each base, also very easy to use. My only complaint is that the mattresses give off a fairly strong chemical smell, my wife and I decided to spray febreze spray on them and it turned out quite well although not completely, another thing if you want a firm mattress these 10" ones are, because they give you a extreme firmness, to the point that I had to put a 3-inch gel memory foam mattress topper on them, and for all this I give 3 rating points to the mattresses and 5 points to the adjustable bases. But at the end of the day my wife and I are quite satisfied with the purchase, which is very good in terms of quality and price. ... show more

  • Lower back pain, GET THIS!
Size: Queen Style: Adjustable Base Frame Only
First off, don't mind the messy bed, just getting it set up in the picture. I have had lower back problems for 20+ yrs, and recently started having neck issues as well. Before the neck pain, I was a side sleeper, I laid on the side that would open the spacing on my disks, and it would relieve my pain. But, every morning when I got up, I felt like a truck hit me. When my neck started giving trouble, I could no longer sleep on my side, because my arm would go to sleep. And I couldn't sleep flat on my back, because I would wake up thinking I was paralyzed. So, I started sleeping in a recliner. Believe it or not, I could wake up feeling pretty good. I've slept in a recliner for about 3 yrs, and that got me thinking about an adjustable bed. I bought this one because it had great reviews, and it's a reputable brand. I've only slept in it 2 nights, but it's amazing! When I first get it adjusted like I like it, my pain almost disappears. And I have slept through the night without waking. Getting up, I'm not hunched over moaning. This is the best thing Ive done for my sleeping. I'm using a queen Allswell hybrid mattress from Sam's club, and so far, I like it. May try to get a Sven &son one day. But it you have neck spurs, or lower back degenerative disk / bulging disk, I can vouch for getting an adjustable bed frame, and I really like the quality of this one. Set up was pretty fast, and it fits between the rails of my queen rice bed. I used a cordless drill with the clutch set, and an Allen bit to put it together. The Allen that comes with the bed is pretty soft and will round out. I may update my review after about a month. The frame is well built, but as with any adjustable frame, don't let kids jump on them, and I believe it will last. ... show more
