It's not totally clear to me how this charger detects the different types of Lead Acid batteries .... and applies that optimum charging schedule to each one. E.g. --- an AGM battery expects a different charge schedule than does a Flooded-Cell battery, even though both are "Lead Acid" (not lithium, aka "LiFePo4"). But it seems to do it properly .... I have other Float Chargers which don't operate at all on the AGM battery... this one does the job. I think ..... I've only used it two days ... ask me again in two years. Product seems to be well-made, with very functional connections. I'd give it Five Stars if there were a bit more documentation on the internal functioning. But, lastly, I'll add that I posed these questions to the vendor/manufacturer ... and at least got (partial) answers back. They are trying.

I’ve left my bike on the trickle charger when I don’t ride and it consistently keeps it charged with no issues. Going to try it on my car too as I have one that sits in the winter, but it seems like it’ll work well on that too. Great accessory pack to allow for bike and car charging without buying additional items.
