Nice sturdy glass containers. Lids are easy to latch & stay closed without issue. Bought to meal prep some breakfasts & lunches. Clean up easily in the dishwasher. Box did arrived with piece tore off, but plastic was still on all containers & nothing damaged or missing so I didn't take a star off. If storage space is an issue, you're able to nest the smallest size container in the largest one with lids of both latched. Other smallest sized one can nest in medium size, but can only rest lids on top. This is shown in picture for this review. Pleased with purchase so far!

This is an excellent set of containers . I was just reading recently that some of the primary ways that people ingest micro plastics is though water bottles and food storage containers-fast food containers, too. I like that these EATEX containers are borosilicate glass and may be placed in the freezer , oven, or microwave.(Do not place in oven or microwave with the plastic lid on). Even borosilicate can have heat stress fractures, so best practice is to not expose any glass to sudden extreme temperature changes. I like that the set contains a variety of sizes and both square and round containers . At one time I remember having owned only round storage containers , until it occurred to me that my cabinets and refrigerator are square , and square or rectangular containers would fit in more efficiently. I did eventually buy some square and rectangular glass containers, but I kept some of the round ones because that shape has its uses as well. The set came very carefully packed . The majority of the packaging is cardboard ,which is somewhat eco-friendly and bio-degradable . The box was filled with stacked cardboard dividers with insets for the bowls, and each piece was protected by plastic wrap . In spite of the careful packaging one lid was cracked near the snap-on hinge . The lid is still useable , but that crack gave me a little pause . I have a twenty year old set of glass containers with flexible silicone lids, and none of those lids has cracked . I am thinking now that over time these more rigid-type lids may be prone to cracking . That said, this type of snap-lock lid has great appeal for me because it is so secure. Another nice touch is that there is an inner gasket on each lid that helps to prevent leakage . I filled a container with water, put the lid on , and turned it every-which-way and even shook it up : no leakage whatsoever. It is unclear to me whether the lids are dishwasher safe . Sometimes plastic is safe if placed in the top rack of the dishwasher . I don’t have to concern myself with this because in my small two-person household we use the dishwasher only for extra storage space. The 12 containers in this set are probably all the food storage conatiners that many people will need.
