This walking pad is ideal to use with a standing desk. You can place it under and walk while you work. It comes with a remote to start/stop and control the speed when it's in this position.It's very quiet and it has not been a problem when I walk during meetings. After the walk/run it shows total distance and speed. If you don't want to use it for an under the desk setup, it has this foldable bars and can be used as a regular treadmill. The controls are on the bars then and you can set up your speed and start/stop similarly than using the remote. I've been using it for about a month and it's been really good for burning some calories and loosing some weight. Steps add up quickly and I walk between 10-20k steps during the day without even noticing. My legs even look more toned! Also, it's quite thin and it has wheels making it easy to store under a couch, bed, etc. Such a great purchase, good for those that want a healthier lifestyle and some workouts while working or doing other activities.

It is heavy—sturdy—and was packed very well, but the small bottle of oil was damaged and leaking, somehow. It came in a plastic bag, so was easy to clean up. Instructions are clear and it was easy to do the minor assembly. I got it running with little trouble, except for the oil. The power cord could be longer. It is quiet! I'm going to be putting in hours on it, watching the endless Republican Clown Show on TV. It doesn't interfere with the TV volume at all, though maybe that's not such a good thing. It is easy to fold down the arm thing and shove it out of the way under a table. So far, I'm quite happy with my choice. I will update this review after I've used it awhile, if there is anything you might need to know.

It was easy to set up but remember to put the red magnetic safety in order to start the machine. I believe it is a safety protocol for the machine to start, which makes sense. All other functions can be controlled by the remote button and a battery is included. It is sturdy and I can run and watch TV at the same time or put my iPhone on the rest pad that is on the guard rail. It is also important to mention that this machine is easier for maintenance because I can refill the oil on the top right side of the running pad without making a huge mess or hassle.

Took only 10min to set this up. It's so easy to move around the house. Comes with a remote so easy to change speed etc. Also , the stand helps to put a tablet or phone. Best part is it's light weight so good deal overall.
