It works great. I had pruned some trees and was attempting to cut them up small enough to fit in the weekly garbage can. It was going to take forever to get rid of all these limbs. I bought this chipper purely because it was the cheapest one, it had decent reviews, and it was available in 2 days with Prime. I was not disappointed. This little chipper reduced a pickup bed of limbs and branches to a pile of much in about an hour. No complaints at all. I checked into rentals in my area. If I use this little chipper 3 times it's paid for itself. Rentals aren't cheap and I have to go get it -- then return it. This little chipper fits in a small corner of the garage.

This is great small diameter chipper. Any thing over 2 inches in diameter is a push. Green branches work best and don’t over feed. Works great , starts easy and made the wife very happy with the new mulch in the green house. Worth the price

Bought this to help clear the yard after a storm. Two months later, I still haven't been able to use it. Engine ran for less than a minute before losing compression and shutting off. Upon inspection, the intake valves are grounded off center so the seat of the valve is not centered with the valve stem. As a result, intake valve leaks and engine has virtually no compression and engine won't run. I've worked with the supplier for the past two months who sent a few replacement engine parts. Parts didn't know work. Supplier finally sent a replacement engine. New replacement has the same issue, low compression and engine doesn't work. Got fed up with this low quality engine and decided to buy a new engine locally. However, this engine has a 25mm shaft so no off the shelf engines fit as 3/4" (19mm) is too small and the 1" shaft engines are too large. Worst purchase ever. Quality is a joke. Customer service dept is responsive, but replacement parts are just as bad as the original ones so there's no way to get this device running. No aftermarket support for this engine either so I'm stuck. Save the money, save the hassle and do not buy this chipper or anything with this engine. You've been warned

This is a small unit meant for backyard DIY. You have to feed the branches, it really doesn’t suck them in. It definitely isn’t chipping a 3” branch. 2” if you go very slowly. It’s super simple to start and easy to unclog. Makes great mulch. I highly recommend for a homestead. I do wish there was a handle making it easier to maneuver, but that’s nowhere near a deal breaker

Yard clean up fallen branches don't wear loose gloves! Part #26 found between 2 pieces Styrofoam at bottom of packing box so as not to get damaged when shipped . Helpful customer severance guy. Even on a Sunday am.

Once it's on, it works alright but even following step by step instruction from the manual it doesn't want to start. It has brand new gas, and oil, idk if the fuel air mixture is wrong or the spark plugs are gapped wrong or what but I'm mostly mad cuz I finally have time to use it and it won't start. I want to do something productive. Aside from that, it bogs down every now and then like a generator does, not sure if it's supposed to

If you can cut it with hand lopper, than i am pretty sure it will shred it without a problem. I used on hardwood like live oak and shred it without ease. It does have somewhat tendency to get jammed at the throat, so I replace 2 bolts with wingnuts for easy of removal to clean out the chutes.
