I got this for my 80 year old father who we also have a transport chair for. He can walk, but isn’t a great walker and definitely no long distances or he complains like crazy. It’s getting difficult for my mom to push him around in the transport chair. My dad is a pretty good driver with theme park ECVs, so I picked this up during prime days at a great discount. We get stopped a lot by folks wanted to know what chair it is. Not sure if it’s because of its form factor or because it’s bright orange. Does make him easier to spot in a crowd since he has more independence and speed than when he’s on foot. But that also means I have to keep more of an eye on him since he’s pretty fast and will often lead the way when he’s not sure where we are supposed to be going. :) This chair is lightweight, fits in my parents’ EV sedan standing up when I take out the bottom parcel shelf in the trunk. My mom has a hard time putting it in, but she can lift it out herself on a good day. It’s hefty for me - but I can get it in and out of trunk easily (it’s a higher lift for me since we are using a sedan trunk). We have travelled with it on a plane without issues. Airlines always ask about the battery size when we gate check it - so I write all that info down in a note that I keep on my phone so I have the info ready when needed. You can’t bring more than 300 watts of battery on the plane. The battery that came with our chair is 144 watts. So you can bring two of them with you on the plane. Battery isn’t super heavy. I think it’s around 3 lbs each. I detach the battery and joystick and put them into a backpack for the plane. I purchased an extra battery just in case - but we haven’t had to use it yet. We also haven’t taken it to a theme park all day yet. That will be next test for battery life. But I love that it’s possible to manually push the chair if the battery dies. I also looked at lightweight scooters - but I’m so happy that I went with this chair instead. It folds up substantially smaller than a scooter (which I think folds up more like a larger stroller - plus usually needs to be disassembled to fit into a sedan). This chair fits in their trunk without disassembly. I will sometimes remove the joystick but that’s super easy and quick. The turn radius is so much better than a scooter. My dad can usually drive straight into an elevator and then can turn around inside with very little extra space to get out. It is a little speedy for a senior. LOL. I had him on speed 2 (2 dots) and felt he was doing very well. I increased the speed to 3 dots and he didn’t drive as well. It seemed to be more difficult for him to maneuver in tighter spaces and hallways. I turned it back to 2 dots and he was back to being an excellent driver. Definitely the best thing I have bought all year. Gives my dad some independence. Frees up my mom to not have to push him. Small, lightweight, easy to use. Very happy!

If you see this same review on a competition’s reviews, ignore as that chair did not arrive before we left so we cancelled it but I posted the review on the wrong product. This chair came quickly and was amazing! Purchased for three week Europe trip to Austria, Czech, Hungary and Romania. All streets were cobble and lots of curbs but this handled them all. Can’t tip it back at curbs like her manual one so need to be more strategic on where to cross, but it can handle 1 1/2” to 2” curbs fine. When we encountered stairs I simply grabbed the two handles under the seat with one hand and pulled up to fold the chair and carried it with one hand while helping her with the the other arm. Super light and very durable! Buy an extra battery though if you need more distance, but we took it up the hill to Bean Castle, very long steep hill and even the. Only used one dot. The one battery was plenty on most days around large cities but would have preferred to have spare as there were some long days in Vienna and Prague where we wore out the battery and I simply released it to manual and pushed her. No assembly required and folds super easy. We probably won’t use every day as she has a heavier one with slightly better controls, (more range of speed on controls easier), but it could serve that function easoly

I cannot say enough good things about this SuperHandy GoRide wheelchair. We bought it specifically to take my 86-year-old grandma on a family trip to Hawaii and it honestly made the entire vacation possible. Why we loved it: Insanely Easy to Use: My grandma is 86 and not great w/ technology, but she picked up the joystick steering instantly. The zero-turn maneuverability is no joke—she was zipping through tight hotel hallways, crowded airport terminals, and restaurant doorways w/ total confidence. A Breeze for Air Travel: I was so stressed about taking a power chair on the plane, but this was a total dream. It folds down so quickly and compactly. Because it only weighs 39 lbs, it was super easy for us to lift, gate-check, and toss into the rental car trunk once we landed. Smooth & Safe: The dual motors had plenty of power for exploring, and the electromagnetic brakes gave us huge peace of mind. The second she let go of the joystick, it stopped smoothly and securely every single time. My Take: If u have an elderly relative and want to travel without the stress, buy this. It gave my grandma her independence back and made our Hawaii trip an absolute breeze. Worth every single penny!

This wheelchair is perfect for our needs. My wife can get around a short distance with a cane, but can't go far. This has changed her life, giving her freedom to get around outside the house. Perfect for the shopping mall, etc. I was worried it would be too small, but she is delighted with the comfort. She's about 5'10" and 160 lbs. More power than she'll ever need. Three hours of "drive time" is no problem. Light to handle and easily fits into the back of the SUV. Perfect. A small stitching error in the fabric was easily replaced after a short contact with customer support. Assembly is a breeze. Tires needed inflation upon unpacking. Be sure to check this (as the instructions clearly say). As a previous reviewer pointed out, the plastic foot pads are a little "thin". No problem at all though. Maybe next design will have some light metal reinforcement built into the pad. Couldn't be happier with the product or the support. I highly recommend this wheelchair.

This chair is compact, light weight, and well made, but it is really only good for getting somewhere outside, not inside. At slow speeds, movement is choppy and hard to control, likely do to poor motor speed controllers. I bought it strictly for use indoors, so I am quite disappointed with it. It would be fine outdoors where you can keep the speed up, and travel mostly straight for extended periods.

If you care about your loved ones, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS WHEELCHAIR. My dad is 84 years old and goes to dialysis 3 times a week. His only mobility is in a wheelchair. One of the back tires went flat after one day and would not hold air. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I’ve called several times, customer service rep was unprofessional and lied and told me they would respond in 2 days. I have not received a response. I have made several more attempts and can not get anyone to answer my calls. I can only leave a voice message. Substandard materials and nonexistent customer service. Save yourself the headache and purchase something else.

Great purchase. Easy to use, folds compactly. Smaller than most wheelchairs so it’s great for narrow or crowded spaces. We bought these for our parents and it is so much easier to get them in and out of doctor’s offices and bathrooms. Holds a charge for weeks as long as you turn it off. Very quiet. We get compliments on how it looks everywhere we go.
