Actually, these are more like miniature light fixtures when compared to a typical 'night light' - they are super bright! And that's exactly what I wanted - I put one in the bathroom, and it's way better than any 'night light' I've tried in there before. I got the two pack and put the second one in the garage. The dawn/dusk sensors work perfect. These will definitely will cut down the need to constantly turn on the 'big guns', and if they are too bright, the dimmer slider also works great (all the way left is effectively "off"). I didn't expect it to have motion detection , and guess what - it does n't have it either so far as I have been using it. Its a standard wall plug in lamp and the brightness can be manually adjusted.Proce is economical.

These are very bright night lights but too bright for the bedroom. The light intensity is adjustable but even at a low setting, it is very bright. Overall nice quality and would be better in a hallway or a room beside the bedroom.

I love that I can control the brightness. Nice amber glow. Since our bathroom is on the south facing side of the house, it never goes out even in the daylight. But it's pennies on the dollar for electricity makes me happy. Good buy so far.

I believe others said similar things... Won't turn off in the day. I took the chance because I have a fairly bright hallway with big windows and very nice natural light. But, light sensor needs direct light to turn off. Indirect daylight doesn't do it. So it only turns off if the hall light is on. With most wall outlets low, I can't imagine anyone having direct sunlight onto it to turn off during the day. The light itself is a great night light. It just requires someone to turn it off and on each day. ... show more
