This is the second duvet I purchased; first was for my king size bed while this one was purchased for the guest room. It is very soft. I like that it is quilted so the fluff stays in place. It is both cozy and light weight. Sometimes I get hot but that may not be the fault of the duvet. Only con is there are no center loops on the duvet to connect it to the duvet cover center straps, only corner loops. As a result, my king sized duvet shifts inside the cover a bit. However, this duvet I devised a way to connect to the center cover strap by slicing the duvet fabric a 1/2 inch and looping the strap through. It isn't used that frequently but so far, do good. It was a great price for the product I felt. I'm sure I can spend a bit more and get center loops but this has met the needs just fine.
