Assembled in about an hour (by myself). If I ever do a second one it will take half that time. Try to assemble in its permanent spot, it's heavy once assembled (especially with the mattress on it) and difficult to move around on carpet. Having a helper would have helped there. Comes in two boxes, a smaller one with the 10 platforms (with no parts), and a large, heavy AF one with the base (including motors, linkages, and electronics thankfully already assembled), hardware (machine screws), and instructions. The instructions could be better. Once I figured out that parts "E" and "F" go on the foot of the bed, left and right respectively (if standing at the foot of the bed), with the part labels facing upwards, the rest was straightforward. Leave all screws loose until all platforms are in place, then tighten them down. Note that the platforms at the head of the bed, "I" (right), "J" (left), and the corners "D" (left) and "C" (right) screw together in addition to screwing into the lifting levers of the base. The other 6 platforms just fasten to the levers. Install the platform cover at the foot of the bed first; it has 2 cutouts for the mattress retention bracket, so install that before trying to get the cover installed on the head of the bed corners - the bracket will help hold it in place. I had one of each screw ("M" and "N") left over, I'm guessing (hopefully) just as spares. Remote control is nice and includes a memory option for your favorite setting. Would be cool to have 2 or 3 of them, but it does also have 3 presets - flat, anti-snoring, and zero gravity. Can't comment on reliability, hopefully it will give me years of service. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably have bought the extended warranty just to be on the safe side. Sure is nice to be able to read and watch TV from bed now. I should have done this years ago.

The instructions could have been better. For example, each leg bracket has 4 holes but the frame has only 2 holes so it took a little while to figure out you just use 2 of them. Each page points to a photo that is pretty useless. The instructions do not mention that the frame drapes over the base in all four directions but after dawn shined over marblehead I figured it out. After getting thru the assembly we were pleased with the en d product. Very sturdy and operates quietly.

It works great, I had a full leg cast and the bed was easy to get on and off. After the cast was removed, I was able to use the bed to elevate my leg for proper healing.

Amazon placed my order. They waited 4 days to inform me that my funding source (Amazon store card) was rejected. Then I applied for Amazon visa card. I was suppose to get $80 off purchase. Amazon gave me $60 off purchase. Delivery took 10 days. Tracking from fed ex was wrong. There was 5 different delivery dates, as they kept getting it wrong and had to add on time to cover their mistakes. Bed frame arrived dented in 3 places. 1 screw that was supposed to be on product was missing, with a nut that didn't belong there floating around in the box. a headboard screw i wasn't using worked in place of missing screw. Cheap Chinese product, horrible instructions. Amazon makes customer service impossible as they refuse to make their phone number available to general public. The bed frame is basic. it works, and is quiet. No apologies from customer service. They seemed cold and uncaring.
