I’ve grown tired of being jolted awake by harsh, ear-piercing alarm sounds. The sudden noise not only starts my day with anxiety but also affects my mood for the rest of the day. I wanted a more natural way to wake up and start my day with ease. A sunrise alarm clock is the perfect solution, gradually brightening the room with soft light to wake me up peacefully. I previously owned the Philips HF3520 Wake-Up Light, and while I loved its sunrise simulation, it eventually stopped working. I didn’t want to buy another Philips clock because the interface was too complicated. The buttons weren’t user-friendly, requiring me to scrutinize the clock to find the right one, which was far from convenient. It was time to find a replacement that was easier to use and better suited to my needs. Searching for a sunrise alarm clock on Amazon was no easy task. There are so many options, and most of them look nearly identical. After much deliberation, I chose this model for several key reasons: 1.Clear product description. The product page was detailed and professional, offering a thorough overview of its features. It’s an all-in-one clock with a customizable sunrise alarm, soothing sleep sounds, multiple nightlight colors, and Bluetooth to play your favorite music. 2.Modern fabric design. From the pictures, the soft fabric finish caught my eye. It has a warm, modern look that I think would go perfectly with my nightstand and bedroom decor. 3.Excellent customer service. I had some questions about the features before ordering, so I reached out to the seller. They responded within a few hours and answered all my questions. This attentive and timely service made me feel at ease and more confident in choosing this product. Next I'll talk about the features I like about this sunrise alarm clock there: 1.The sunrise simulation is amazing. The gradual sunrise simulation is a game-changer. The light gradually transitions from soft red to orange, then to a bright, warm sunrise glow. I set the sunrise duration to 30 minutes, and it wakes me up naturally with a calming feeling, compared to the sudden ringing of a normal alarm clock. 2.Intuitive button controls. I always hated the touchscreen interface on my previous clock—I often accidentally activated functions by mistake, and it was a nightmare to carefully fumble with specific buttons when a bright light was shining directly into my eyes. The buttons on the Sunrise Alarm Clock are neatly arranged along the top edge, with raised bumps that make it easy to identify the right button in the dark. No more fumbling around half-asleep! *One other thing worth mentioning is that the sunrise alarm function is set to be operated by the slide switch. Unlike buttons, slide switches give me a clear idea of what I'm setting without guessing and double checking. 3.The dimmer dial is one of my favorite features. It lets me adjust both the display and the nightlight brightness with ease. As someone who is super sensitive to light at night, this has been a lifesaver. I can dim the light to almost zero to fall asleep comfortably, and in the morning, I can brighten it up to see the time clearly. 4.Sturdy and modern design. The soft fabric finish not only looks warm and inviting but also adds a modern touch to my nightstand. The base is sturdy and stable, so I don’t have to worry about accidentally knocking it over, which was a constant issue with my old Philips clock. 5.Multiple sound options. This clock comes with 25 sleep sounds and 7 alarm sounds, including white, pink, brown, and blue noise, as well as ocean waves, fan sounds, lullabies, meditation tracks, and other soothing natural sounds. My personal favorite is the rain sound, paired with the sunset light, which helps me relax and fall asleep quickly. Update: the seller reached out and wanted to make it right. They assured me this issue of not keeping time is not typical I was able to get a new clock right away. With how they stand behind the product I have no doubt this one will continue to work well! I’m glad they reached out because I really do prefer this type of alarm versus traditional. This concept is excellent, I really do think taking up more gradually with increasing light is helpful. However, this alarm clock is dysfunctional. Firstly, it’s complicated to set with a ton of buttons, making it a challenge to turn the alarm on and off even once it’s been set. But MOST concerning, is its lack of ability to keep correct time. I’ve had this clock for 3 months and it has already lost 5 minutes. We’ve not had any power issues, other clocks relying on plugs or hardwired have not had issues. This is a huge problem. Unfortunately, it’s passed my return window, but hopefully I can save someone else from wasting their money.

I do really love this product. It does exactly what I wanted it to: -Ability to function as a sunrise wake light only - I don't need a sound machine or sound alarm for my mornings, but this does have those options -No app, user friendly setup, backup battery -Set and forget, no setting the alarm every night -Slow brightening sunrise feature -Ability to turn the clock display off completely at night -No necessary, but bonus: this also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker! I tried various other lights and smart bulbs at various price points and this was the clear winner. Waking in the morning has been immensely easier and I am no longer dreading dark winter mornings. The only con is that the bluetooth speaker is faulty. Luckily I am not using it daily but it's extremely warped sounding so I will probably not use that.

Absolutely love this! First of all, it’s gorgeous. This has so many features, it can even be a bluetooth speaker! Features include night light (optional timer for shut off), sleep sounds (optional timer for shut off), alarm (goes off for 15 min max), snooze (9 min), night light has 11 color options, 25 different sleep sounds, 7 alarm sounds, time display brightness can be adjusted (mine is on the lowest before being off), night light brightness can be adjusted as well, sleep sounds and alarm volume can be adjusted separately, wake up light can be adjusted with brightness as well as how long it takes to get bright before alarm goes off, and more details as well. This is well worth the money!

really wanted the Hatch alarm clock but didn’t want to pay for a subscription. I’ve had this for over a month now and love it. It’s super lightweight and can run on either battery power or a wall plug — perfect for traveling. The cord is extra long and the backup batteries are great peace of mind if the power goes out. There are many soothing alarm sound settings to choose from, helping you wake up in a calming, stress-free environment. The alarm clock itself feels very durable and well-made. Highly recommend!

WOW. I’m impressed! I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Hatch for my nursery. This does it all!
