I'm so glad I purchased this! I live in VA and we've been experiencing a heat wave for a few weeks now. We're talking temps in the low 100s. My AC is running all the time and can't get under 77 on most days. This fan is AMAZING! Out of everything we've tried to help with the heat in the house, this has helped the most. We don't even have to be sitting in front of it to enjoy the temperature change. The whole room is cooler. Even my husband said this was a good purchase and he originally didn't have any hope for it to help! I love that there's a remote where I can change the speed, turn it on/off, turn on/off the oscillating feature or set a timer. It's great! It's not very loud even when running on high. This is the best fan on the market, it feels like an AC unit! This fan is so powerful yet so quiet at the same, it's crazy!! I keep it on oscillation mode all night and it cools every inch of our larger bedroom. It is so easy to use, and we've been using it every night and it has held up great!

Great fan! It has six speeds but I have never set it higher than “2.” Most of the time I set on “1.” At the “1” setting I can easily read a book or take a nap within five feet of it. At a setting of “2” it is still very quiet. I have it in my living room / dining room which is about 35 feet (11 m) long x 17 feet (5 m) wide with a 15 feet (4.5 m) high open ceiling.
