  • Why I Bought This One & What's Good About It
The two main reasons I decided to buy this specific machine: 1) it was an excellent price, and 2) it was on Prime so if I did need to return it I could do so for free and wouldn't have to pay for return shipping (which would be a fortune). The machine: It was super easy for my son to put together for me. He dropped by on the way home from work and was in and out within 20 minutes. He also tested it out for me. I walk only, but he is a jogger and taller than I am. He had no problem jogging comfortably in his normal stride. (In other words, the walking area is long enough that you don't have to shorten your stride.) Neither he nor I had any problem with the width of the belt, it's plenty wide for either of us to use comfortably. The incline: It is not that big of an incline, but if you're not used to it you will definitely feel it in your hamstrings and glutes. I did some research and found out that incline walking is actually easier on the joints, and as my knees bother me sometimes, this was good news. So I'm fine with using an incline. I am walking two 10 minute sessions a day until I build up my leg muscles enough to do one 45 minute session a day. (I've been sedentary for like 7 years so I have some stamina and muscle building to do). The handle sits at a good reach for my arms so I can hold on while I walk. I also tried swinging my arms while I walk and had no problem with the handle placement. I weight about 5-10 pounds more than the machine max weight, and this has not had an adverse effect - the machine can handle me just fine. Misc: The machine folds and wheels easily, so I can quickly stick it in the guest room when not in use (this was important to me BC if it wasn't easily accessible I wouldn't use it). It does not have a heart rate meter, but I have a finger oximeter that also does pulse, so I just stick that on my finger before I start a session. Bottom line: It's a fantastic machine at an equally fantastic price. ... show more

  • Great Treadmill To Stay in Shape - Perfect Size for an Apartment Great Treadmill To Stay in Shape - Perfect Size for an Apartment
I love this thing. It was really easy to put together, and works great! I'm 255lbs, and have walked/light jogged on it for the past week. No issues with the motor or extra weight, as the manufacturer says this is only for a 220lb person. The belt doesn't slip once its aligned properly....and it came with a little bottle of lubricant...you'll have to use this before you get on the treadmill. Instructions are included. It's also very quiet. If you're worried about the size of it, dont be.... I'm 5'6", and the display and handle bar are at the perfect height for me. The belt WIDTH is not bad for someone my size, but if you're taller than 5'9" you'll probably want a wider belt (this one is 14"). The LENGTH is great too, I dont have a huge stride as a light jogger, but if you want to RUN at 5MPH or higher, the belt length might be too short for you. This treadmill has a 6% incline, and you can feel it! Guaranteed to get your heart rate up if you're a brisk walker or light jogger. It doesnt take up a lot of space. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • 3 years and still going strong
I purchased this in August of 2021 and still use it to this day. It has been a positive component in regaining and keeping my health and fitness in the positive. I feel that the price was well worth it and the payoff has been great. Now, on to the good and bad with the treadmill and the reasons I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5: the pad is not very wide and sometimes the length finds my shoes hitting the front plastic end of the pad, when I take a more lengthy stride. I'm an average sized female (135lbs 5'6) with an average shoe size, so if you are taller with a longer stride and larger foot, you may find yourself constantly scraping the front plastic end with your shoes. While the treadmill is compact and folds up nicely, moving it around isn't easy, as the small wheels on it seem to not be able to roll under such a heavy weight. You can easily end up dragging the treadmill and scratching your floors if you are not careful. Now, it is a well constructed piece of machinery, but once you start amping up the pace and transitioning from brisk walking to jogging/running, the treadmill starts to shake and bounce and squeak a bit with each impact step you take while running. It's not bad, to the point of feeling unsafe, but it happens. Now, something that is only touched on once in the description of the treadmill does play a huge roll in how you approach using it: the treadmill has a 12% average incline when unfolded and set up to use, right out of the box. This incline is very steep and can be tiring and frustrating when you first start using the treadmill, if you are not accustom to walking and running on an incline. But there is a work-around! You can level out the walk pad using blocks under the back roll bar, and it will still run. Personally, I leveled it out and then slowly built my stamina up, adjusting the blocks over time to get used to the incline. If you can master that incline, you will find that your calorie burn will almost double. (Though the calorie readout on the treadmill should be ignored... it's never correct. Even the fanciest of treadmills never get that count right. You can use online treadmill calculators to get accurate calorie and pace counts). So, in closing: it's a good treadmill and worth the money. It's a tough little treadmill, as it withstood being hauled across the state of Maryland and down the eastern seaboard, while getting banged up, walked on, ran on, and left sitting out on my back patio for a good year with just a tin patio roof keeping it covered from the elements. It has its flaws, which I addressed, but nothing super serious that it will make you regret buying it. At least in my opinion. Hope this review helps. ... show more

  • Best incline treadmill ever!
Color: 50% Incline Black
I've been waiting forever for a treadmill with a steep incline and finally -- this is it! I love to hike in the mountains but when I can't be outside, I needed something that would give me a similar elevation/incline/grade where I'd get the same type of workout. This is as close as you can get. I'm not a runner so I didn't need a fast speed, just a steep incline for the leg workout, though the 5mph it offers is still generous. I've had it as high as 20% and I'm sweating and puffing at only 2mph. I can't imagine what it will be like at 50% but I'm excited to find out. It's super heavy at 300 lbs but easy to put together. I'm a 67 year old petite woman and was able to assemble it myself, though it took some creativity. I also love that you don't have to oil under the belt itself like you do all the other treadmills. There's a small hole on the side that you poor the oil in and it's done. Just turn it on for a few minutes, let it run on slow speed and it's ready. Worth every penny, I love it! ... show more

  • This treadmill is wonderful This treadmill is wonderful
The box came intact with all the parts included. I was able to put the treadmill together in about 20 min, on my own. Once assembled, I plugged it in and turned it on. After reading quite a few reviews about the belt not being centered, I wanted to check before doing anything else. I pressed start and the belt starting running. It was going right. I followed the instructions and also the helpful tips from some reviews I read. For the life of me, I could not get the thing centered. I sat there on the floor for more than an hour messing with it. So I searched online for product reviews and found one where a gentleman explained how removing the plastic covers helped him center the belt. So I removed the plastic covers from the back of the treadmill. There is one screw underneath each. I've never had my own treadmill so I had no idea what it looked like underneath any coverings. In the gym, treadmills are just there and working perfectly, u don't think about the parts. Anyways, once I removed the covers I was able to see the roller and the adjustment screws. Seeing this, I was able to have a better idea of exactly what the centering process was. Basically U are moving the roller (on both sides) forward and/or backwards, on the screw its attached to, in order to balance the belt to the center. I've seen reviews that said not to have the belt running while adjusting it. But honestly, it was way easier adjusting the belt while it was on because I could see it move to either side. I did not turn the adjustment screws in 1/4 turns (as per instructions), but less... I did slight turns. Trust me, once u remove the plastic covers and can see the screws and roller for yourself, you'll see the less than 1/4 turns could be necessary. It took me about 5 minutes to get the belt centered. I was so happy. My first time getting on the treadmill was wonderful. I wasn't worried about the belt or anything. It was smooth. The controls are easy to work with. I love this treadmill. Honestly, I do. I'm 5'3 and so far I've been walking on it, but my 14 yr old son has been running on it. It holds up. It folds easily and I have no problem moving it in and out of my closet. I'm plenty satisfied. If u are considering this particular treadmill, get it, its a good choice. Update dec 07 2022 (original review june 2021): I haven't had any problems at all. I take Care of this treadmill so there have been no mishaps to cause damage. It runs like new. I'm still very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Definitely don’t regret it!
Small enough doesn’t stick out that much from the wall and I have a very small living room. Speed up to 7 not bad at all. No fan but that’s not a deal breaker for me I have ac . Set incline. I’m not going to lie I wish it could be adjusted so I could run easier, but hey I decided to go for it because at least it’s working my a** off even at the slowest pace. I do think if you have back problems you will feel it. I don’t mind it really, but I don’t have back problems. To run sometimes I have to hold on to the bar to stabilize myself And keep myself on the track. It is small. I’m 5’2” my fiancé is 6’2” he said it’s small, but he can work with it. The program is simple go walk/run at your pace play/pause/stop . Nothing fancy to it. I don’t think it looks cheap or expensive it looks just like the pictures. People complain about the safety lock I’m going to be honest we have a toddler and baby and I think we’ve done great. They have all their living room space. It does sound like a washer when you put up the speed but my girls sleep through it then again we’ve taught them to sleep through noise. It’s very light weight you can move it from one room to the other it has wheels. Do buy the oil I think that has helped us maintain it. Use 5 days a week. For almost a month . I’ll let you guys know if it begins to fail. I just came to say going on 6 years and it’s still going just maintain it with the oil. I bought a simple treadmill oil on Amazon nothing to expensive.) ... show more
