I had no problem putting this bench together. I've put equipment tougher than this together by myself. I used real tools for a better grip. All the bolts, nuts etc. are packaged and numbered. You should take your time and read instructions carefully as it will make assembly go easier. I am 5.1 so I had to take out the pin for the adjustable hip pad, completely. The post now rests right under the cushioned pad and hopefully won't wear and rub the pad to damage it. The pad is a bit wobbly and still a bit higher than I like but it should work okay. I am short and at 124 lbs I did feel a little unstable at first. At first I felt like I would take a header but the handlebars keep stability. This extension bench is good and basic for a home gym. For the price I think it will serve the purpose of working my lower back core muscles. ... show more

This was an amazing addition to my collection of fitness equipment. Once I decided to incorporate glute extensions into my fitness routine, I looked for a piece of equipment that was easy to store and cost effective. I found just that and it was incredibly easy to assemble! It is also very sturdy. I weigh 180 lbs. and so far, I've only used a 40 lb. weight with no issues. I am also 5'9", all legs. It was easy to put together. Everything came wrapped and protected. No missing items, and instructions were straight forward as the items were included fully labeled. Just unpack these items labeled step-by-step. I am not very strong so I did need to use my torque wrench so that may be the only issue that others may run into if they do not have tools/strength. Love that it can be pulled up to be made “flat” and easy to store. Excited to use this as I haven’t gone to the gym since the pandemic hit in 2020 ... show more

The actual product itself is great. Feels strong 💪🏼and durable. Can be adjusted which is awesome. I am hoping I will gain insane lower back strength 🙏🏻 even though this is a gift for my husband 😏 The instructions were easy to follow considering all I did was watch it get built 😬 No but in all seriousness, my husband said the one tool it came with to put it together was crap. If you don't have tools of your own, this will be very difficult to assemble. Luckily he's a real man's man and has lots of tools 🔧 but he did try for a good 20 mins with the tiny tool it came with until he said "screw this" and went to get actual tools.
