    • Nice bike, pretty simple assembly

After falling in love with cycling at the gym, I’ve been looking for a bike to use at home. I found this, it had the features I wanted so even though it had no reviews at the time I bought it on a whim. I am 5’0, not very handy or strong. I was very worried about assembling this myself. The hardest part of assembly was getting this box into my house and down into the basement. The box is heavy, 105 lbs. Once it was down there, I was surprised at how well put together and easy assembly was. I had no real issues assembling it myself. I was impressed at how the instructions are very well thought out and clear. (There are walk throughs on YouTube for similar Sunny bikes if you do get stuck.) I have used it 3 times so far, on “difficult” recorded spin classes on my tablet. I use it at the lowest height settings. It’s very sturdy so far. I can stand and sit without feeling all all wobbly. I LOVE(!!!) that the monitor shows RPM, a feature many other bikes didn’t seem to have. My tablet fits perfectly, I don’t worry about it falling. My water is easy to grab while cycling. Belt drive is quiet so far and the resistance works well. The caged pedals fit my sneakers snug, I don’t have cycling shoes. The only two issues I have with it: I did notice the padding in the handlebars must have ripped during shipment. I was a bit upset when I saw that because I’m worried it will get worse and the padding will fall off. Also, the pulse hand monitors are very slow, each time I tried them I couldn’t wait for them to actually get up to my correct heart rate. This is not a big deal for me because I use a different device to check my heart rate but it’s something to consider if you don’t. All in all, I would suggest buying this bike. I plan on getting small weights. With the few personal mentioned add ons (weights, tablet), I feel I have a similar set up to those much more expensive bikes for a much more reasonable price.     • The best quality for an affordable price

Loving this bike since day one! This was a purchase that was very necessary due to my last bike completely failing on me. Last bike was a cheaper low end brand and I’m so happy that I chose this one. I would closely compare this to a Schwann ic2, maybe even an ic3. I’ve trained on both bikes and I can happily say that this bike by Sunny Health ranks up there with them. Very quiet, very smooth, and breaking mechanism works instantly as it should. The flywheel weight is perfect for anyone that’s working on their fitness and training. When I’m grounded after a few turns, these legs definitely feel that work. :) The computer it comes with is very basic but has everything you pretty much need negative the cadence. There’s actually a cadence App you can get on your phone instead of buying a sensor and use that while riding. Your phone or tablet is secure in the slot and never moves while riding. The seat is very strong and holds up well. I find the seat to be just a tad bit uncomfortable but nothing so bad that I need to replace it. If you’re reading this and debating on which bike to get based on reliability, quality for price, affordability, then this is your bike. ;) ... show more

Bike was delivered on time (in fact within 20 minutes of the delivery window starting) and box was in excellent condition. It is v. heavy - so I asked the delivery person if they could bring it in to where I was going to set it up and he kindly did that for me. Unpacking was very easy. The picture above is all the parts after unpacking so it is not very complicated. Directions were very easy to follow. There is no video about set-up unlike some of the other Sunny models - so I used one that was closest to this model and watched it before starting and then at key points. Sunny really needs to make a assembly video for all of its models. It took about 20 minutes to unpack (very carefully and slowly) and about an hour to assemble by myself. It rides very smoothly. The only thing I am having difficulty with is the seat - I guess my arm strength isn't as powerful as needed in tightening the two seat bolts. It is something I am going to have to check before each ride since it was slightly moveable before I got on and then loosened during a ride and I slid off backwards. Sunny has free biking videos on their youtube channel so I am able to have the experience of a class without leaving the house. ... show more
