I was skeptical. The video was outstanding, but for the price, I just could not believe this was a quality piece of equipment. I was wrong. I read EVERY review before purchasing and contemplated for a long time, but I am extremely satisfied. To address a couple of other reviews I read: I am 5'3". Some people complained that a minimum height of 5'6" is necessary to utilize this machine, but I have had mine for well over a month and used it countless times with no problem. That being said, form is extremely important. Watching the video again is helpful in adapting good habits. Yes, it would be nice if they would offer shorter handles for petite people, but it is NOT a deal breaker. For those who are super short, there are platform tennis shoes for a quick fix. It is SUPER SMOOTH, very quiet and a great workout. I am a cardio maniac, and I can do maybe two minutes before I have to stop, rest for about 30 seconds and then do another set. Great for working out while TV binging. The counter has several settings and works perfectly. Despite other reviews, I find that it stores in the vertical upright position easily and is very sturdy. It is lightweight and easy to move. I just pick it up, stand it up and roll it into the closet - so easy! Even in the operating position, it takes up very little space. I did not find it difficult to assemble -- took about 30 minutes. It is an all inclusive workout. Although it works the arms/shoulders very hard, you also feel it in your back (in a good way), legs, abs. Really helps me up my strength training game while still getting cardio. Only downside for those of you with fitness trackers, you don't really get much in the way of "steps" from this machine, but YOU NEED to add this machine to your workout circuit. It is everything I hoped it would be and more.

First of all I’m 5’2 and we won’t go into my weight lol. I had no problem helping my mail man bring it up my stairs (arrived a day early!!!!) and putting it together was even easier( maybe 15 mins outside of taking it out the box, which I may add the thing was packaged so well I was impressed at how neat and secure everything was with the zip ties and all). After putting together I took it for a trial run and here are my results: -Digital counter: works accurately and cuts off after non use in 4 mins. Came with batteries so happy about that. - noise level: literally quiet none at all. Perfect for ppl who have roommates or babies in the home. - chair comfort: I have a lot of butt and despite what ppl think about all this natural cushion work out equipment still hurts. But not this one. So far it’s comfortable, wide enough where I’m not spilling over, and glides like a perfectly oiled machine. Makes incline very easy on the knees which is my reason for buying this no impact machine in first place. - foot pedals: easy to attach and strap on, move accordingly! - handles: full range of motion, I’m short and still able to hold in proper area instead of self modified location for my height. Using them appropriately helps feel the burn. - incline: smooth and easy, can feel the muscles working but lifts and goes down seamlessly close to a fluid swimming motion. I literally love that part. - levels 1-5: 1 is my comfort zone right now as a new user I can definitely see the change as I went higher just to try it out. However I’m going to work my way up to level 5 over time. If you want easy fluid movements I say stay 1-2 if u wanna have to stop and take a breathe 3-5 is where uou should be. - Cardio: I felt my heart rate raise quickly with this machine, I definitely see what other reviewers are talking about as it pertains to having to rest then continue. It’s not exhausting but your muscles will say,”hello we need a minute” lol. Muscle groups: I feel abs, legs(whole leg, mostly thighs, back(lean back slightly on incline for proper form), arms for sure...triceps and biceps will thank you. I love u can get cardio and full body workout on this machine with no impact. This is perfect. Storage: I added a pic of it standing im good with that but will definitely fit in my closet so I’m super happy. Won’t be putting mines out of sight though, I need to be on her 2x a day 20-30 mins each. I’m going after results.!!!! I hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision on this machine. I’ve been watching it for months and finally decided to buy it since this pandemic doesn’t seem to be letting up and gyms require masks, as an asthmatic it’s very hard to breathe in my mask and get a proper workout in. I’ll opt into buying home gym equipment and make my house work for me. I will be telling friends and also buying more equipment from Sunny Health and Fitness. The machine assembled easily. The quality of it looks and feels good. It is sturdy and operates smoothly. It is unlike typical rowing machines. It uses one's bodyweight against gravity for resistence, increasing incline with backstroke. It works out the arms, back and legs, in that order. While is provides both resistance and cardio workout, it serves as a muscle building device, more than a cardio device. At first, I was limited to about 3 minutes intervals on the machine before I needed a break, similar to my reaction when working out of the weight training machines at the gym, doing sets and repts. That way, the workout is fairly serious, and I could feel the results quickly. It can be manipulated in various ways, isolation certain areas of the body. What I like about it the most is that I can use it to strengthen the whole back and paraspinal muscles, while strengthening the arms and shoulders. It does not do a lot for the legs.

After having the rower for a couple of days, I can say it has many things going for it. It is well constructed and easy to put together. However, I would have to agree with others that made mention that achieving cardio heart rate and sustaining for a period of time will be difficult for the average person. The workout, even on its lowest levels, is difficult. Some people will see this as a challenge and will find exactly what they are looking for with this rower. Myself, I need to reach and maintain cardio levels which I am currently unable to do with this rower. Having said that, I am not totally disappointed. I think it will allow me to build my endurance over time and will perhaps be effective from a HIT workout perspective.
