Got this after my husband had knee surgery - - and it is just perfect. Good size, good weight, good range of motion, good price point and quiet. We were able to set it up in an easy place for him to access (came with the needed batteries!) - and it has a handle that allows me to move it around/out of way easily too. He just needs it for little timeframes now - 5-10 minutes several times a day during recovery - but it has adjustable tension settings and stays in place, so I feel like we both will be utilizing it going forward. Not a substitute for a full size elliptical workout but that is not what it is. I love it! I'm not capable of walking because of my balance. So I figured this might help and it has! It is heavy, for me that is, so I had to decide where to place it so I wouldn't have to move it. Make sure the chair you sit on will not move cause you need to push the pedals hard. I'm 74 and I usually give it a start by pedaling backwards then I go forward. It's just easier for me. It's worth the money! Don't feel bad if you stop along the way. Just start it again. Keep at it you'll get better. Mine does not make noise. Do just 5 minutes the first time. You will feel it in your calfs and hips the next day not your knees. It's a great machine. You dont need electricity and it's ready right after taking out of the box. No need to put it together. No tools required. Awesome pc of exercise machine. It is heavy, so decide where to put it first ... show more

It's a good elliptical. Runs smooth with no creaks or hitches. The elliptical motion is a little small, but is sufficient to get the blood moving. It is an under the desk model, so it has to be small. This model does not have foot straps and I think it could use them. The foot pedals are a little slick particularly if trying to pedal in the reverse direction. I used some 2" Velcro straps to add some. Cost about ten bucks. The unit comes fully assembled. Just need to remove a plastic strip to enable the button battery to power the display. Two batteries are included. The included manual shows a full list of all parts that make up the elliptical. I assume if I need to repair the unit, I should be able to get the needed parts. Why else publish such a detailed list? ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Setting up the Sunny Health & Fitness unit: I am so THRILLED that I did not spend over $300 on the expensive more advertised version of this machine made by a different company. I'd have paid for their advertising and glossy box but would not have gotten the great product that I received today (at least it could not have been better). The large box was delivered in 2 days (thank you Amazon Prime) and there was NOTHING to put together! YES! All I did was get rid of the packaging and put it on a mat on the floor (I have tile floors and everything slips on them, so a kitchen rug under the exerciser worked). Note: there is a clear strip of plastic you need to pull out of the side of the digital meter to allow it to start working. That I didn't notice at first but that was the extent of setup. It was wonderful. Now about my experience in using it: I sat in my low comfy leather couch in front of my tv and put my feet into my new Sunny Health & Fitness unit. I didn't bother to adjust the dial/meter whatever it is, I just started peddling and off I went. It was a little harder than I wanted to peddle so I turned the resistance dial down and off I peddled again. It was great, I watched tv sat on my comfortable couch and exercised. No muss no fuss no problems at all. THE PROS: Price: $100 as opposed to $250 to $350. This unit is a real savings. Setup: There is nothing to set up but don't forget that little plastic strip. Quality: Right up there with the other more expensive products (I have had an opportunity to use my friends more expensive exercise machine and really not a bit better). It is also built very solidly, I'm very impressed. Do put a rug under it, any machine like this needs something to keep it from slipping (yoga mat, kitchen floor rug anything). Warranty: It comes with a company warranty of 1 year frame and 180 days (6 months) parts warranty. Other companies come with 1 year 90 day warranties or less. Of course you can buy an additional warranty if you feel the need for a few dollars when you check out but it's important to know that this company stands up for its product better than other companies. CONS: Uhm ..... none yet. I've only researched this for months and had it for a short while. I will have to return to this review in 3 and 6 months (May 2020, Aug 2020), to update this product review and let you know how this product does. IN SUM: This is an affordable 5 star product that I highly recommend to everyone! ... show more

This was fully assembled- ready to use right out of box. Easy to use...very quiet. Does not take up much room. Is a little heavy- would not want to carry it around everyday. But, the weight is good for avoiding movement; It stays in place while peddling.

This is an amazing little elliptical machine. No assembly and I just had to lift it out of the box. Very simple and easy to use. I even use it on my arms and get a great arm workout. The price was amazing too. Very quiet and very sturdy. Keep on the Sunny Side !!!
