Ok so Im going to go over exactly what happened after receiving my elliptical. The box is EXTREMELY HEAVY, which is to be expected. Upon opening the box, there were parts everywhere... loose parts.. screws, washers, Wave washers. The package containing the small parts must have come open during shipment. I took a great deal of time trying to locate everything and confirm that I had the correct # of each item. Initially I was missing one of the wave washers and I actually found a very small screw that I couldn't locate on the parts list which meant it came off of one of the partially pre-assembled parts. And I could not figure out where it came from. I immediately utilized the customer support email and sent them a message including the model #, the name and part # of the wave washer that was missing out of the owners manual and a PHOTO of the little screw that I found unattached to anything. I sent the email on Feb 4th and was of course hoping for a quick response because at this point Ive got everything all over my living room waiting to be put together. On FEB 11th, I received a response from customer service who asked me for the PROOF OF PURCHASE (how do I have part #s from the owners manual to provide them to begin with? and why would I email them for help with a product I DIDN'T ORDER) MY SHIPPING ADDRESS (why?), SERIAL # AND PART NUMBERS NEEDED (already provided and one of them, the photo, I had already explained that I had no part # for it). No response regarding the photo I provided. So at this point 7 days later... I was super upset and trust me they now know it. The good news is that I continued to attempt assembly to see if the wave washer would magically turn up or if I would be able to figure out where that miscellaneous screw was supposed to go to. and whalah!!! I did find the wave washer and realized that the little misc screw went to one of the rear pedal assemblies. One side had the screw and one side didn't... so it all ended up working out for me because of my own persistence and patience... but I pray to God this elliptical lasts because I would hate to have to contact customer service again and get such terrible service. They clearly didn't read my email and I can't believe after getting a concerning email like that from a new customer they would respond with this "auto type" "impersonal" message showing no concern that I just spent $600 with their company and got a mess of a product at first. Now on to the finished product, which by the way took me 4 HOURS to put together. Part of that is due to missing parts that I couldn't locate at first. Assembly was fairly easy but time consuming. The Elliptical itself is amazing. I LOVE IT! Tension is good and fluctuates depending on the specific program chosen. The different programming options make it so nice to be able change things up and also work up to higher level programs as you get in shape. So far, I would highly recommend and will come back to update if anything changes. This product is sturdy, not loud at all and has a very smooth stride. Not sure if the pulse reader is completely accurate but I think its close. ... show more

    • It is very quiet
I live upstairs and was concerned this would annoy the neighbors, but it is very quiet. My only complaint is some of the screws were very fiddly and easy to damage. Once you have it together though it feels sturdy and should get the job done

    • BUYER BEWARE!!!
It arrived and started making a loud clicking sound when using it , until it fell apart on one side when my son was running on it. The company Sonny Fitness has asked me for pictures which we sent then they asked for pictures again and then a video. They are giving us the run-around .. The main frame is defective. I am tired of the run-around from Sonny Fitness asking for more pictures and now a video when I have called several times for months now. The item is defective and cheaply made. If you look at the other Amazon buyers negative reviews you will see other are experiencing the exact same thing with the unit making a loud clicking sound when using it until it falls apart.... Our last Elliptical was made in Germany by Smooth Fitness, it lasted perfectly for 35 years with NO problems so we did not expect this to happen when we purchased the Sunny Health Elliptical from Amazon.. This unit lasted less than one month and it had problems from the beginning ... We expect a full refund!! We will do a follow up review on how the company responds to us, so others can decide if they want to do business with Sony Fitness and waste money on something that may only last one month.. ... show more

I NEVER write reviews. Yet I made the effort to review this Elliptical and the company. Four years into this thing, using my elliptical almost daily. Finally the belt broke down. Been VERY happy with the value of this equipment and after interacting with the Sunny support team - I could not endorse this elliptical machine AND the company more strongly. Unbelievable support and ease of ordering parts. I later ordered a resistance motor. Sunny really uses technology to enhance all interactions with them. Timely. Direct. The support has made me an enthusiastic believer. ... show more

Nice machine, works as intended and its stable (I'm pushing 285). Has a lot of settings. You can peddle backwards etc. This elliptical machine is easy to assemble, had all the fasteners, except one allen headed bolt was messed up. Home depot, quick fix. Some have complained that other models are noisy, not this one. I'd definitely recommend machine to others. I wish I had purchased it sooner. Machine comes in a pretty big box, but it was well packed and had no damage. You could probably assemble it by yourself, but its faster with two people. ... show more

I had a trusty ole' well-known brand, a hand-me-down, that I had used for several years. And then it became unfixable. I just wasn't sure I needed a new elliptical. But I still kept my eyes and ears open, even neighborhood garage sales, or bicycling around my old routes. Then I saw some reviews for this brand and was immediately intrigued. It looked like a good deal, and the pictures looked nice. And then my bootheels wanted to go wandering. Well, not bootheels, but athletic shoes. I've skipped a few steps, but I might come back and edit, if given time. The machine went together very easily. Not quickly, only because I took my time. It arrived earlier than I expected, so I still needed time to make space for it. Entirely my, doing. But the instructions are well-coded, laid out, and are almost impossible to misinterpret. And now the machine looks beautiful! Be sure you measure out the space fore it before it arrives. My home gym is in the garage, ad since I had very similar footprint for this before, it was not a problem. And it also sounds great, meaning very quiet. I listen to music or inspirational tapes during workouts any way, but, if you don't, it's not at all disturbing. And now I'm only slightly sore, but happy. So far, so good.
