Features

  • 1SUNLU PA6-GF Reusable Spool- SUNLU PA6-GF 3D Filament made of 25% Glass Fibers and 75% PA Nylon, use heat-resistant and reusable spool to facilitate drying before printing, the maximum drying temperature can reach 230F(110C).
  • 2401F (205C) Heat-Resistant- PA6 GF withstands 205C, retains strength/stiffness under heat. Perfect for engine components, electrical housings, and high-temp industrial molds.
  • 3Strong Chemical Resistance- SUNLU glass fibers offer superior resistance to harsh acids, fuels, and industrial cleaners, making them ideal for chemical valves, fuel systems, and corrosion-prone industrial environments.
  • 4Excellent Mechanical Properties- PA-GF filament provides excellent mechanical properties and high impact/drop resistance without affecting interlayer adhesion. Makes printed works resistant to falling and smashing, designed for harsh industrial applications.
  • 5Wide Application- PA6-GF 1.75mm filament is robust, durable, and high-toughness. Ideal for automotive, electronics, and industrial high-performance components, e.g., aerospace seat frames, headlight brackets, drone motor mounts, and agricultural compost bin fittings.
  • 6Smooth Surface Finish Glass-fiber nylon filament prints have a smooth surface, low warpage, and high dimensional accuracy, making them ideal for automotive prototypes, consumer electronics housings, and functional industrial jigs.
  • 7Recommended Settings- To achieve the best printing results with SUNLU PA6-GF filament, we recommend printing at a nozzle temperature of 270-290C, a bed temperature of 50-70C, and a print speed of 50-120mm/s.
  • 8Printing Tips- 6 hours after unpacking, it needs to be dried before printing. The recommended drying conditions is 110C for 4 hours. It is recommended to apply glue to assist printing to prevent edge warping. Printing PA6-GF with a copper nozzle is prone to wear and tear. It is recommended to use a wear-resistant nozzle, such as a hardened steel nozzle.
  • 9Not Compatible with AMS- To prevent filament breakage, PA6-GF is not recommended for use in AMS, AMS Lite, or other multi-color systems.
  • 10Strong Compatibility- Spool Diameter: 203.2mm(8inches), Spool Width: 63.5mm(2.5inches), Spool Hub Hole Diameter: 55.88mm(2.20inches). Compatible with most printers, such as Bambulab H2D, X1 series, etc.

  • Very easy to print and durable!
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Grey Size: Glass Fiber
Very easy to print and durable! With the way the texture of the material is not silky smooth like PLA, but rough and gritty feeling like sand, I thought I would test the limits and make a print in place nesting retractable self defense baton. It came out perfect and nothing fused together! Very impressed! ... show more

  • Excellent filament by sunlu once again!
Color: 1kg - Abs-gf Natural White Size: Glass Fiber
This ABS-GF prints beautifully and easy. The filament came in a vacuum packed sealed bag and no issues with packaging, filament was neatly wound and no tangles. Zero clogging or printing issues at 280c, adhesion was great, no warping. The GF adds additional strength interweaving through the ABS, also helping with even cooling. I love how the glass fibers eliminate any layer lines and gives the ABS the matte appearance with little specks in the finish. You couldnt tell this storage tray was 3D printed, its that good. I highly recommend this brand and filament! ... show more

  • Great stuff!
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Black Size: Glass Fiber
The media could not be loaded. I’ve read this is both a robust and tricky filament to print. I recreated a water can spout and then did a benchy. Both printed with ease. Very impressed. The surface is almost like shark skin due to the fiberglass.

  • Not Smooth. But Strong.
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Grey Size: Glass Fiber
This review is for the Sunlu PA6 Glass Fiber filament. Printing this right out of the box was a mess. Globs everywhere. Printing this after 48+ hours of max temp drying... Better. I have to call complete BS on SUNLU trying to sell this filament as "glass smooth" outer layers. This must be an outright lie or they are making an attempt at comedy. This is hands down the roughest garbled un-glass like outer layer I've ever printed. It feels and looks like sandpaper. Seriously. Taking pictures of the print up close reveals a myriad of tiny fibers jutting out at all directions. Pros - Extremely tough and strong print. Hands down the strongest I've printed with and I've explored all the ABS and CF filaments. Dry, this prints pretty easily albeit at high temps. Wound perfectly on a high quality spool. Cons- Sucks water out of the air. Needs to be dried for a long time before use. Useless prints if not dried. Very rough textured outer layers. Needs to be printed relatively slowly for guaranteed success. I can't stress how un-glasslike this finishes. I've pet bearded dragons with smoother skin. Image of the washer print was without drying it. Image of the bigger print was after 48+ hrs of drying. One final note. This stuff is crazy strong. I needed something very rigid and strong for a project that required a small actuator arm. This stuff worked perfectly and has yet to fail after testing it for a week. This was not the case for every other material I tried including ABS, ABS CF, and PETG. I didn’t even try with pla. ... show more

  • Good stuff
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Black Size: Glass Fiber
This stuff is insanely strong and looks cool. But it takes some work to get dialed in. I dried it in a modified nesco American Harvest dehydrator that reaches 80c. After drying for 8 hours I printed directly from the dehydrator. If you’re familiar with the American harvest dehydrator, the center posts on the trays fit a filament spool perfectly, and you can drill a hole in the side of the tray and run a PTFE tube directly to your printer. The settings that worked best on my centauri carbon were .6mm nozzle at 285c, with a drastic improvement in layer adhesion and finish over 280. Bed at 100 with all the cooling turned off. I’ve tried various combinations of build plate textures and adhesives and I can print this on the stock textured PEI plate without glue, but make sure to use a brim. The biggest issue you’ll have with this filament is poor layer adhesion, and thoroughly drying the spool and printing hot really helps the layers stick. I also increased my line width a little so the wall loops really squish together. After printing some replacement vacuum cleaner parts, I put the finished parts back in the dehydrator overnight and they are currently moisture conditioning, which should hopefully give it the combination of flexibility, stability, and friction and heat resistance I need. Everything came out extremely nice and should hold up well in theory. I used this filament to make some replacement roller brackets for a roomba and I have a feeling these will outperform the original. This review is for the black but I’ve also used these grey and really like both colors. ... show more

  • Excellent filament.
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Grey Size: Glass Fiber
I purchased Sunlu PA6-GF specifically for an engineering project where I needed to 3D print a wheel for my crawfish boiler. The part needed to be strong enough to support the weight of the boiler and water, while also being able to handle the heat coming off the boiler. The PA6-GF performed exactly as I needed and proved to be a great material for the job. This filament is a little finicky, so proper preparation is important if you want high-quality results. Drying the filament, using the correct print settings, choosing the right nozzle size, and adjusting print speeds all make a big difference. I recommend following the settings provided on Sunlu’s website and running a few test prints first to fine-tune your setup. If you do that, the prints come out excellent. I had seen some complaints about failed prints caused by the filament being wound too tightly on the spool, which supposedly caused binding and snapping during printing. In my experience, I had no issues at all with the filament feeding off the spool. I printed two wheels that each took about 22 hours, for a total of 44 hours of print time, and I did not experience a single problem with the filament. Overall, I am very satisfied with Sunlu PA6-GF and would definitely purchase it again. ... show more

  • super strong parts, prints great with a heated chamber
Color: 1kg Pa6gf Grey Size: Glass Fiber
printed some sprockets on an H2C for a chain drive transmission, they turned out great and are super strong. i plan to also print motor plates using this filament that the designer recommends using aluminum and i have no doubt it will work great.
