The threads are a bit different, making it hard to put on. Cap does not seal tight as the oem requires a seal . Other caps use the old seal. No place for it on this one.

This cap fits perfectly. The inside is threaded to screw in securely, it's MUCH heavier than I imagined (the original is just plastic), and the color really pops. Looks great! No complaints. Definitely recommend it.

Just removed cap to add fuel and found the rubber seal on its way into my fuel tank! Thank goodness it went cockeyed and was lodged where I was able to pull it out of the filler neck with my fingertips. It appears the seal tore away from the cap. Guess I’ll have to revert back to my oem cap that was a pita to get off.. bummer. ... show more

They are junk. The rubber gasket broke twice. I thought the first time was a fluke. They lasted maybe 6 months each.
