We’ve been really happy with this SUNLU Official Filament Dryer, especially for managing multiple filament types at once. One of the biggest selling points for us was the ability to hold up to four rolls at the same time, which makes a huge difference when working on larger or multi-material printing projects. It keeps everything organized and ready to use without constantly swapping spools in and out. Another feature we love is being able to feed the filament directly from the dryer into our 3D printer. It makes the entire printing process much smoother and helps maintain consistent filament quality while printing, especially in a more humid environment where moisture can become an issue. I also appreciate that the settings can be adjusted based on the specific type of filament being used. Since different materials require different drying temperatures, having that flexibility makes this much more useful than a basic one-setting dryer. We’ve used it with multiple filament types and have had consistently good results. Overall, this has been a very practical and reliable addition to our 3D printing setup. If you print frequently or work with several types of filament, the larger capacity and customizable settings make this a worthwhile upgrade.

Works fine, though I wish it would go to a higher temperature - it takes longer than expected to thoroughly dry rolls. I wish they would install a simple powered roller inside these, it shouldn't be that hard, as it's done in AMS units.

This is a well-made dryer that has definitely increased the quality of our prints. Before using the dryer, we had issues with moisture in the filament due to the high humidity where we live. Being able to store 4 spools at a time ensures my son and I have at least two filaments that we usually use ready to go at any time.

Got the previous gen because it was cheaper. No sense in reviewing the features that may have already changed in the new model but I’ll mention one thing. You can only turn the heater off by using the switch in the back. Holding the power button on the touch screen doesn’t shut it off. So you either wait for the timer to shut it off automatically or physically flip the switch in the back which is hard to reach.
