  • ANC is just ok, the rest is great
I'm an audiophile and electrical engineer. I'm very accustomed with high quality audio. ANC - 3.5/5 Let's first talk about the active noise canceling, I have a nice set of Bose over-the-ear noise canceling headphones and while these do reduce the noise some, the amount of noise it canceled really doesn't compare to how much quieter my more expensive Bose headphones are. Transparency mode- you can hear you're surroundings but it isn't a flat EQ like on my other headphones, because on my other headphones you hear your surroundings as though you don't have anything in your ears at all and nothing is too loud but on these headphones the high frequencies are definitely amplified it's not a natural flat eq. THE BEST PART is besides having ANC to cancel noise or to have transparency mode so you can hear your surroundings, the best part is that you can turn it all off. I cannot turn off stupid microphones on my very expensive and very nice Bose headphones because I don't like the feeling of the pressure differential when the mics are on. I wish I could use those headphones in just a normal mode like these and so I now prefer using these at work without noise canceling or transparency mode and just putting Brown noise on top to block out the sound of coworkers. Sound quality 4.5/5 These headphones actually sound very good and are very pleasant to listen to. They have no problems playing down to 30 Hertz and have a nice bass response without being boomy. They definitely have more gain or boost in the high bass probably between 80 and 150 HZ. I like having a boost in that region as it does follow that signature Bose sound. They do have a little more energy in the 1 to 5 kilohertz range, but most of my headphones attenuate that sensitive range. EQ, in the app you can get somewhere around a 10 band EQ which is nice to be able to find tune the sound. I listened to a lot of music on them and I really enjoyed the sound even though I did notice the slight differences between that and the other headphones I'm used to. So it comes EQ'd out of the box nicely. Phone calls I took a phone call with it and did not get any complaints from the person on the other end of the phone but I didn't really ask them how well they could hear me. LHDC I watched a YouTube video to see if there was much lip sync error, and while there was a slight delay in the audio, it wasn't so bad to be annoying and egregiously noticeable. App Besides having an EQ, you can rename the device, or update the firmware, and do a few other useful things without having an overloaded software. I found it to be sufficient. Complaint My only complaint besides the mediocre ANC would be the way the buttons press and feel because they have a cheap clicking sound that is moderately loud with the headphones on. So overall I was really happy with the high quality audio codec and the detail from the music and the bass response. Also these headphones were very comfortable to wear for many hours at a time. ... show more

  • Solid headphones but certainly not the greatest pair ever
I've had issues with some Mii products in the past but I was cautiously optimistic these would be better and thus far they have been. They connect easily, the noise-cancelling feature works well, and thus far on a single charge, they've worked in use for over 10 hours. The main issue I have is the Transparency Mode is awkward. Yes, you can hear things around you but they take on a tonal difference and it just makes things sound odd, especially if you have low music on. Overall, the other features work pretty well, and for the price (around $50 when received) its worth what you get. They're fairly comfortable, but will get hot if you're using them outdoors. Are they the best headphones ever, no, but they are solid and the noise-cancelling feature works well enough for my needs. ... show more

  • Try These Before Spending Hundreds On Other Brands
1Mii Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones July 21, 2026 Good Sound Reproduction and ANC, Comfortable Fit, Good Price For What They Do I purchased on my dime an earlier version of these headphones and have enjoyed them. Getting to review a new version was appealing. Both have ANC and LDAC (Hi-Res) audio. See pix. Sitting next to a noisy air conditioner (1-meter away), I cycled through the settings on the ANC. Trans let everything external be heard, ANC almost completely blocked all external noise and Normal was in between the 2 settings. Decent. Could’ve used this on the plane when I traveled extensively 50% of the time and got stuck next to an engine and crying babies. I do love babies, but y’know… I originally bought the earlier 1Mii headphones for the LDAC. Android 8 on up supports this hi-bitrate Bluetooth and it’s almost CD quality sound (990 bits/sec; not for iPhone). I’ve spent hours listening to various types of music streamed from my Pixel Pro 9 phone to these newer 1Mii headphones. I’ve digitized half speed master vinyl at 192Khz/32-bit and down compiled to 44Khz/24-bit for my phone so as not to take up so much memory. Pretty decent sound including Cowboy Carter, Beatles Red/Blue, Paul McCartney and digital remasters of Chicago Transit Authority and AC/DC along with some classical Mozart. Lots of different instruments to see how well the 1Mii reproduces sound. Pretty satisfied. Windows 11 doesn’t support LDAC without loading drivers for it so the default sound is ok but nothing special. Use your search engine ‘LDAC for Windows’ and you’ll get directed to directions for setting your computer up for this. I use a KM-HIFI-384Hz DAC to a Fosi BT20A-Pro amp with Saiyin speakers at my desktop, so I decided not to load the drivers. I have this DAC on 3 computers as it’s inexpensive and works well. So, I wired the 1Mii HP into the DAC and played the 192Khz/32-bit recordings on the headphones. Not sure I could tell a lot of differences, which attests to the quality of sound that the LDAC BT interface delivers. My only complaint is that the included cable for a wired connection is too short. Would like it to be as long as other wired headphones have, twice as long as currently. I tried pairing both headphones to the phone. It worked but only one headphone would play at a time. That’s because the 1Mii doesn’t support the LC3 codec which allows two devices to pair and play on BT. Asking Alexa, she confirmed that the 1Mii headphones do not support LC3. My phone said the same. Not a prob for me as LC3 has a lower quality bit-rate and I would rather have higher quality LDAC. Lastly, I tried the headphones on receiving a call from Mrs. Cool. The voice in the HP was clear while everything else was quiet. She indicated that my voice was also clear. Good for a noisy environment. • Very good headphones for the price
I own several products from this company including two LDAC Bluetooth transceivers that I use to listen to my TVs at night with. I also have an LDAC receiver from them that I use for powered speakers at my desk. They make quality products and these headphones turned out to be no exception. It's pretty amazing to be able to get a pair of LDAC and ANC headphones for $59 and at the time of this writing they actually have a $20 off coupon which adds up to a total bargain. I tried some budget headphones recently that were slightly less expensive to use for my TV in the bedroom and they sounded so bad I couldn't even use them. That is not the case with these. Not only do they have all of the nicer features but they sound pretty good as well. My daily drivers are Sony WH-1000XM4 which I use for movies and music and I also have several high quality earbuds that I use for convenience as well when I don't want to have the full sized over the ear models on. Now, with these new 1Mii I have the perfect extra set for in my bedroom. Sound-wise these definitely don't approach the level of top of the line big brand models, but they are surprisingly good for the price. They do sound a bit muffled and muddy out of the box but I was surprised to find a preset EQ that I liked without having to tweak it afterwards (I settled on the "Jazz" setting). These are not for critical listening, but for casual music and watching TV/movies they are fine. They have good rich bass and are typically bass heavy to begin with but they have serviceable highs as well. Vocals seem to be a bit faint at times almost regardless of the setting but for the most part it's really hard to complain. I suppose LDAC may be helping even these headphones as it tends to provide a richer fuller and more detailed sound so even though these aren't exactly reference quality I'm sure it still helps. These also have a surprisingly high quality feel to them with a nice heft and finish. They don't look or feel cheap, and the ear pads are really soft although a little on the small side. Having said that, I have big ears and wore these for an extended time and they were still comfortable. Speaking of the extended time, I must have run these for at least two hours as I was dialing in the sound and pairing them with the transmitters and the battery level is still showing as 100%. I definitely get the impress that these will have phenomenal battery life. The only gripes I have regard their microphones and transparency functionality. I tested the mics using a voice recording app and compared to other buds, earpieces, and headphones these sounded a bit quieter and a little more muffled as well. Although they could definitely be used for calls in a pinch. Unfortunately the transparency mode barely seems to work for me. It definitely lets in a bit more sound but I could hardly notice any difference with regard to my voice when speaking which is too bad because I like to be able to hear that side tone while speaking on a call. Also, I didn't really stress test the ANC but I could definitely tell it helped reduce background noise. Unfortunately it did also seem to add ear pressure which is typical and also changed the sound somewhat. These actually do a nice job of noise isolation anyway so the normal setting is fine for me. Overall I would definitely recommend these for a nice budget set of headphones. ... show more

  • Better grade affordable headphones. Foldable, bigger battery, 3-mic ANC, and LHDC-ready.
I've enjoyed using the similar-looking1Mii H3 model, but thought I'd give these a try. This is my first experience with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) headphones. That feature proved to be a game changer that will allow me to use my laptop in coffee houses without being distracted by the recorded pop music that usually gets played.. The 1Mii brand features affordable products. This newer model is an upgrade, but they also sell a more expensive version with 5-mic ANC. PRO - Body - Identical to the H3. Very comfortable and adjustable. Able to fold either flat or sideways with the cups nesting. - Direct Input Option - 1/8" phone jack for a direct audio line, which completely bypasses the limitations of Bluetooth. - Battery Upgrade - Longer run-time than previous models. Manufacturer claims up to 100 hours, with a 5 more hours after only 10 minutes charging. - ANC - The hybrid 3-mic system really works. One of the main values of ANC is that it helps preserve your hearing by eliminating the need to blast your earphones to block ambient sound. At the end of the review, I'll provide some details about my experience. - Potentially, much higher quality Bluetooth via the LHDC codec, but only if your device supports it. Apparently, only Android devices supply it already built-in. (not tested) - Velvet Carry Sack - Sized to fit the phones when the cups are nested. - Downloadable App - The most important features are a set of EQ presets plus optional custom presets, and a large library of ambient sounds. Note that listening to the sounds and changing the EQ is possible only when paired to your phone. ALSO KEEP IN MIND - The control buttons are not necessarily where you'd expect to find them, and may take getting some getting used to. - The LHDC feature is intended for listening to uncompressed high-quality audio. For run-of-the mill streaming, you won't see much improvement. - Disabling the ANC and LHDC extends the run time. Also, Bluetooth is potentially more stable when LHDC is not used. HOW I TESTED THE ANC - I went to a coffee house that plays recorded music over their PA, and then compared the three settings: - "Normal" - The ANC was off, but the ear cups blocked most of the room volume. What leaked past the ear cups was a rushing sound like listening through a drainpipe, with the treble missing. - "Transparent" - The treble got added back in, so the leakage through the ear cups sounded normal, which might make it possible to hear the barista's shout-out, but you'll probably want to remove the phones for a conversation. - Automatic Noise Cancelling - It made the drainpipe effect totally disappear. The coffee house sound was still faint in the background., but when I turned the volume up slightly, it disappeared entirely. ... show more

  • Much much better than expected!
I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered this, but my stepdaughter was on the hunt for a good noise-canceling headset without breaking the bank. Usually, wireless over-ear headphones in this price range don’t quite hit the mark. Guess what? I was wrong! I actually compared these to a pair of Edifier wireless headphones (W820NB Plus Gen 2) that I thought were really good, and they are, but to me, these sound a bit better, and I’m not sure why. They’re definitely clearer, but sometimes they get a bit sibilant. But what really impressed me was the bass response. I can’t get my Edifiers to sound as bassy as these, even with the app’s equalizer. The sound is incredibly satisfying. The app has an adjustable equalizer that you can tweak to your liking, and it also comes with at least 22 presets to help you find the perfect sound. The build quality is good for the price. The ear cups are soft and fit snugly over my large ears, and the controls are easy to handle. The headband extenders are metal and have an index system, as you can see in the pictures, so you can get a precise fit every time. I have a big head, and I didn’t need to extend the ear cups at all for a great, tight fit. The only thing they might lack is having just one noise cancellation level with two other options: normal and transparent. Transparent is exactly what it sounds like, but it lets you stay connected with the rest of the room while still listening. The noise cancellation is good enough to drown out most background noise, but even at its highest setting, it’s only about what my Edifiers offer in its mid-range setting. It could be better with one extra level of noise cancellation, but at this price point, it’s a really good deal. So, should you buy them? I’d say definitely! I paid a lot more for the Edifiers, and they have some cool features, but I wouldn’t miss them much, and I even thought about keeping these and giving the Edifiers to my stepdaughter! But I’m just not that kind of guy as I already told her that I found these for her. Comes with a really nice velvet pouch. It’s a yes from me. ... show more

  • Totally awesome value on a really great pair of budget cans
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I review a lot of audio gear. I've covered dozens of headphones across a wide range of price points and I was curious how this one would stack up on its own merits. The $60 price point is a weird zone for headphones; you expect more than the budget stuff but you're not guaranteed real quality either. Likes: * The plastic doesn't creak when you handle it and the hinges feel like they have some actual engineering behind them. I own a few other pairs in this price range and this one feels noticeably more substantial. The ear cups don't flex when you squeeze them and the headband has a good amount of rigidity to it. Lows hit with real weight and the highs don't get harsh at volume. I tested these with a few different genres and they held up across all of them. * The app inclusion is kind of insane at this price. I built my own EQ profile in maybe five minutes and got these sounding exactly how I like them. Most headphones under $100 don't come with an app at all. * Battery life is ludicrous. I ran these for a long listening session and barely touched the charge level. * The ANC blocks out low rumbling sounds like HVAC and traffic pretty well. It's not Bose-level, but its fine. No likes: * None Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: Sixty dollars shouldn't get you a working EQ app, decent ANC, and a headset that doesn't feel like it'll snap in half, but here we are. The app alone would've sold me, and the sound backs it up. These are great! ... show more
