We're trying to eat more veggies so what better way to cook them. Fresh veggies cook to whatever texture desired. For me this is a great size, although some may want to go bigger depending on your needs. Construction and quality are good. It's easy to clean. Sometimes I get some spotting on the bottom boiler, but a little white vinegar and they are gone. Overall for the price and quality, I am happy. Can you go up a few notches? Yes, but this works great for me and I suspect this will last many-many years.

The pot, strainer, and lid have a few nice touches, and I haven’t had any issues. The different layers fit together nicely, the handles are comfortable to touch, the strainer drains well, and it’s all about the size and weight I would have expected. I like that the strainer doesn’t sit too low in the pot, so it’s hard to accidentally boil what I was trying to steam.

I have a smaller steaming pot that I have been using. I bought this large one on a black friday sale since I have been looking for a larger one, but nothing very heavy. This is light weight, but well made. I cut a whole head of cabbage, plus added a few potatoes to steam in this. I still could have added more! I really like the glass lid to view the steaming veges. I have used this a few times so far. Each time, the coated handles never got hot, and this cleans easily without any scrubbing needed. I would highly recommend this.
