This is an amazing home gym. It takes 5-6 hours to set up. However, that is only because it it is so sturdy and has so many different exercises, both cable and free weight options. If you have ever assembled an IKEA cabinet, dresser drawers or shelving, you have the necessary skills to assemble this machine. It is easier to assemble with 2 people. Our assembly took 4 hours. It comes with the necessary 17mm and 19mm wrench and alan wrenches. We used our own socket wrenches, but it was nice to see that the necessary tools to assemble the machine were included. I will keep these nearby just in case I need tighten any of the nuts in the future. The machine is great. It allows many different exercises and the convenience of the weight stack is great. If/when we want to do reps with weight that exceeds the weight of the stack, the included smith bar with separate weights (purchased separately) is available for heavier leg or chest workouts. The machine is sturdy enough for normal use. I will move this from its current area to our workout room when construction is finished. It is not sturdy enough to move to another room as an entire unit, so I will disassemble/re-assemble it when I move it to a new room. Customer service has been the best I have experienced in a long time. I ordered the wrong machine and they help me re-order this machine. I also received a friendly follow up to make sure the new machine arrived as promised. If you want a machine that will allow you all of the necessary exercises for weight training, this one will work well. If you are training for Mr./Mrs. Universe, you might want a machine with only free weights, but this one is incredibly convenient with the stack weights and numerous adjustments that support many different exercises. ... show more

This machine is really solid, especially considering the price. Good build quality (nice welds!) and a well thought out design. Took us less than 5 hours for two people to assemble, including unboxing and cleanup. Some scratches on painted parts but nothing too terrible. Came in six boxes of roughly 75-100lbs a piece. The delivery service only left 5 boxes in my driveway, so I contacted the seller via email and got instant responses. He was able to locate the missing box, provide an updated tracking number and it was delivered the next day! He followed up several times to make sure things were going well. Pretty impressive. The combination of cable based exercises and the Smith machine is really flexible. No regrets so far. You'll need to add Olympic style weights for the Smith machine and an adjustable bench to get the most out of it. ... show more

This product has exceeded our expectations. We really want a home gym that gave us everything we needed and this was it. The cables are smooth, and very easy to use. It did take a little while to build, but so worth it!

This set is great and has everything my family needs. Most sets don’t have the leg press option with a smith system but this one does. The pulleys are nice and smooth unlike out sears brand set we had previously. I would definitely recommend this system.
