I bought this despite the reviews that complained about the hinges coming off. My fingers were crossed that the one I ordered would come in one piece. This arrived with both male ends of the top latch resting at the bottom of the package. They could not be rescrewed with the same itsy bitsy screws that were their original screws because the holes were stipped. Even had we been able to do that, the screws are so small and so little of them goes into the woodish construction that they would never hold the weight even without the bottles of booze this is intended to hold. If you plan to set this up once and leave it in spot, great. As a travel bar....no...it wont travel with any hope of arriving intact. Imagine all the glasses and bottles smashed on the asphalt. Surprised as to people that say this thing is fragile. I have had it for 2 years. Been to many a tailgate and traveled with me on probably a dozen road trips. Very well made and protects contents very well - never had anything break including the glasses inside. Everyone who sees it loves it - its the best mobile party you can bring. I purchased some stainless steel shot glasses that I store inside the shaker and keep ping pong balls in the glasses (along with some solo cup atop the shaker.     • Two replacements, two damaged deliveries
I am going to assume that one of my two shipments actually came undamaged for the first paragraph. This thing does have everything you would need to make drinks and entertain for 4 people. It is pretty freaking sweet. But it is 18 lbs without the booze, so keep that in mind of you try to pack on the lighter side. Yes - its big, but it is setup to be an actual travel bar that is pretty flexible. Now for what I have received. Like some of the reviews indicate, there is probably a design or manufacturing flaw with this beastie. The two front clasps that hold the top to the front panel was damaged both times. Since I was never able to travel with it, my guess is that it is either the packaging which allows the top to stress on the clasps or the tiny #4 or #6 screws that hold the clasps in the wooden top. Anyway, heed the warning that the purchase may not make the shipment to your house. I would love to see if there was anyone who was lucky enough to have it arrive undamaged to see how durable it is. ... show more

    • Its a great idea but functionally outdated
Its ok for transferring regular sized wine bottles or traditional 750 ML bottles, however if you are in to any spirits for cocktails that have a different size....they wont fit. I got my hopes up for this after searching for a month as well as trying out another brand. This unit wont carry 95% of the bourbon, whiskey, or rum bottles I own and use for cocktails. Love this portable bar. Took it on our last trip and it was great. Once filled it heavy, so I purchased a small luggage cart to wheel it around. Worked great. The glasses are small but found some bourbon glasses we already had fit well. Had to grind an edge on the knife. Otherwise unusable.

I purchased three of these as gifts. Upon arrival, all three of them were broken at the latch. The screws that hold the latches to the case are essentially screwed into a more sturdy cardboard. On all three that I received, the screws had pulled away from the case, and could not be fixed. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this item. ... show more

I really like this bar, I did swap out some of the utensils for my own. The only two things I would comment on are the lack of a lock and remembering that this case is heavy when loaded up. These issues do no significantly detract from enjoying this case for me. Also, it was better than the vintage one I found that smelled like an old shoe! ... show more

    • Clasps delivered broken twice
Overall, very cool concept. Unfortunately, I ordered this as a gift and as soon as I opened it out of the packaging the left clasp’s screws fell out and the clasp fell off of the frame making it useless. I returned the product and received a new one but as soon as I opened it the right clasp fell off! This would be an awesome product if only the fasteners were installed more securely. ... show more
