First, we love this bar. It is a beautiful piece of furniture once it is complete. We checked it carefully when they delivered it and there was zero damage. The delivery people took every piece out of the box and let me inspect it. Everything was perfect. Second, it takes two people to build it and one of them better have a lot of patience. Third, the instructions suck! All pictures, no words, so you need someone who can interpret pictures and figure out what they were trying to say. Fortunately, my dear hubby is really good at this and (not without some frustrations and a few swear words) he built it in about five hours over two evenings. Oh, build it where you want it to stay because this thing weighs a ton once it is completed. We really love it and feel it was a great value for the money. I would give it five stars if it weren't for the instructions. ... show more

Product comes in one box. At 185 pounds it is a lot for one person. A way to approach is open box and take each individual piece out and take to site where bar will be assembled. Directions are not great, pictures not words. If you have never put together something like this you will struggle. You will need a second person to assist with holding parts steady and putting the top on at the finish. That being said the finished bar is fantastic.     • It Arrived Damaged, But It Gets a Five Star Rating Anyway
The Customer Service for the company that sells this product and Amazon's Customer Service were amazing and offered a solution for the damaged item. I did not return the item, because I like it very much. The company that sold this product was very nice and gave me the direct contact (phone number) for Amazon's Customer Service. I could not be happier with both Customer Services response. Amazon provided a discount, which essentially paid for the repair of the damaged top (left corner). I purchased this as a gift for my son's "Man Cave" for his new house. We are very satisfied with the product and grateful for the discount offered to repair the top. ... show more

The bar is sturdy and looks GREAT. It was a chore to put together as the instructions appear to an older model. They reflect holes in parts that aren't there and pieces that aren't needed. Not sure how any of that got past quality control but the overall finished product is fine and looks like a million bucks. ... show more

I did not like the finish on the bar. There were multiple spots missed on the wood. It was difficult to assemble using the instructions. Poor workmanship, apart from that it was a nice bar.
