After reading some of the reviews, I almost didn't order these. They are actually pretty rugged, are attractive, and they do have a drain hole in the bottom. They might not work well for the old rubber type hoses, but are great for the expandable variety or the metal clad ones that are actually kink free. I followed the suggestion of another reviewer and put some rocks in the bottom of mine to reduce the chance of tilting over. I suppose you could also brace them with more rocks around the perimeter.     • Doesn’t fit the old heavy plastic hose
I like that it fit my new metal expandable 100 ft hose but not the old plastic heavy hose. I like it overall. I put stone inside so it won’t trip.

Pots are really small. Barely holds 50 feet of tightly coiled soft hose! Regular hose wouldn’t fit at all! Worst of all, they are charging a 50% return/restock fee! Gonna make them flower pots before I give them more money.

Water sits in the bottom, they are so light weight they tip over a lot and my 100 ft skinny metal hose just barely fits. If you have a regular size rubber hose this will not be big enough, if you have the expandable lightweight space savors these will fit perfect. I do like the color and pattern. They were priced really well, so overall I will keep them but in the future will purchase higher quality ones with a better hole in the bottom. ... show more
