I looked at quite a few leaf blowers before deciding on this one. The two selling points for this one were weight and price (under $20 open box). I bought "Used Acceptable" condition and aside from the box being re-taped it was like new. I have a 24 ft. wide, 150 ft. long packed gravel driveway, I wanted a lower amperage unit to allow for the long cord length. I used a 50' 16 gauge cord, plugged into a heavy duty 100' 12 gauge 3 outlet commercial cord to reach out to street. The blower worked great, barely getting warm to the touch on the motor housing or cord connections, and maintaining constant power thanks to being only 6 amps. The only real negative is I am 6' tall and the nozzle is a bit short and straight. This makes it difficult to push leaves once they start piling up. I wish it had a longer nozzle with a bit of an upward curve at the end to help get air under the leaves. It works, but I have to bend over a lot to get air under piled up leaves to move them along. I may try fabricating something to attach on the end to help with this. Definitely beats raking, keeps most of my gravel in driveway. I was surprised with the capability of this. I used on semi wet leaves and still got a 100ft by 50ft yard done in under an hour. The only thing I wish it had was throttle control. This leaf blower is fantastic, it's lightweight & easy to operate. It makes yard cleanup a breeze for grass and leaves. If you are looking for a quality blower for a great price this is the one you want. It's made well & easy to assemble. Just make sure you have a long enough extension cord.

I bought this leaf blower as in "as is" item meaning, I guess someone had returned it, so lucky me got a great discounted price on it and boy did I use it this fall and I absolutely love it. I get a ton of leaves on my balcony from a tree in front of it and I use this thing almost every day and it worked incredibly well on the balcony and in cleaning the garage floor quickly. WOW! This is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I have used it to remove cobwebs and dust around the window frames outdoors and it blows debris off the swing cushion. I've also used it to blow away leaves from the driveway and my flowerbeds. It works great and I'm so happy I bought it. My husband owns a bigger type which is heavy for me to use for a lengthy period of time, but this Sun Joe is perfect for me. I had to buy more extension cords to reach where I wanted to get and it also cleans the garage nicely from bugs and cobwebs too. Talk about those deck flooring spaces, it also blows them clean between the boards keeping stuff from entering inside the home. If you drop something indoors behind a piece of furniture that can't be reached; just get out the leaf blower and it'll blow it out from under making pick up easy. ... show more
