Our Golden Retriever, Rusty, has cancer so I was looking for a pawprint keepsake and decided to buy this kit. You get enough clay to do two paw prints which was good because we have a 13 year springer who we wanted a paw print of also. The kit is wonderful! It has everything you need in the kit. The clay was very workable and rolled out just fine. Rusty took 3 tries and Jena took 2 tries. Each time the clay rolled out beautifully. The circle is big but it wasn't big enough for our Rusty's foot (he has a big paw) so I improvised and used and oatmeal container as a templet which worked out just fine. Cut the stamps apart with scissors don't try to tear them apart. The instructions are very clear and they will send you new clay if yours is dried out. I couldn't be happier with the results. One package made all three of these! And this listing gives you two packages of clay. Easy to use and I like the results. Simple to follow instructions and guarenteed good clay by manufacturer. You do not have to press hard when using the stencils. SAM'S ornament I pressed hard, HARPER's I didn't. When making a word, keep the last letter stencil in place and use the following as not to deform the previous letter. ... show more

I’m not great at this kind of stuff, but my brothers dog is getting older and I wanted to do something special. It came with two packages of the clay, which were very well sealed. The above photos are from one package of the clay (idk what this stuff is called lol After I rolled it out, I had my dog stand on it and her paw print came right out. It didn’t stick to her paws at all. Then since I had extra (after I cut the one that is an actual circle), my dog just walked over it and I thought it was cute and random haha. Anyway, it took about a day to dry. I kept turning it throughout the day so that may have helped it dry faster. It’s soft but firm. I would suggest not pushing the little letters down too hard, because it will kind of lift up the clay a bit (can see my little mistake but I don’t care, it’s cute).
