OK, it's a leaf blower. You don't use it a whole lot, though it is quite handy. You can knock all the excess grass clippings away after yard trimming in no time. And to my surprise after finally popping the money for one, it's actually fun! Especially now that I don't spend 15 minutes sweeping and bagging those clippings anymore. Really, tool people, get you a leaf blower. It's not going to be your most used tool, but you'll appreciate it. Ok, I've already got an EGO yard trimmer and an EGO hedge trimmer which you would do well to find a way to try out somehow. They are really powerful and no more fuss and muss with extension cords or mixing gas. You pop the battery in and you go to work. They are fantastic! So I got the leaf blower with the battery and charger, no good reason for that other than you save money on those by getting the package. That way I have an extra because the batteries are indeed, interchangeable with all the EGO tools accept the chainsaw. KNOW that if this is your FIRST EGO tool, you WILL need to purchase the one with the battery and charger. But if you have another EGO tool with the battery and/or charger, you can can save a considerable amount of money by just getting the blower. Now I got this one, which is 3 steps up from the entry level, simply because it was on sale at the time and the same price as the entry level one. I believe I'm glad I did. It really blows powerfully. And that's what's fun about it, if only for a couple of minutes. I believe it's totally safe though. My boys (adult) get a little stupid with it blowing their mouths all wild and open and for tick-tock and such. God favors the silly, but I put safety goggles on them and you may be wise to consider that when legiteamately using all EGO tools too. Like I said, they are powerful. Now a little about EGO batteries. The replacements are pricey, which I think is what detours people away from EGO. But know that they last a very LONG time. I got my EGO string trimmer with my first battery about 5 years ago and I regularly trim 3 big yards. It is just now beginning to loose charge time. And the chargers will last forever so you really only need one, which can save you some money too. I did get another charger and battery with the hedge trimmer package though, which again, saved me some cash by buying the package. This way I can always have a fully charged backup or two, which I sometimes need. Expect about 2 hours of charge for the lawn trimmer, 3 or 4 for the hedge trimmer, and I think the blower will hold charge forever. So, I'm an EGO fan and thinking about getting the chainsaw maybe if my gas powered one ever goes out. I hear it is very powerful too. The lawnmower is just too pricey for me at this point and I mow a lot of grass to be using an electric mower, but who knows? Now, I wouldn't consider this for professional lawn care. You guys would need like 20 batteries to get through the day with these. This is purely for landlords and personal yard work. And, I like it!

I use one of four blowers at least once a day. This is the newest, mid range blower for me, falling between smaller battery operated and the mac-daddy gas blower. This is a GREAT blower. It gets things moving, wet or dry, making clean ups easy. It is a little heavy but manageable for this girl. My only- and biggest - complaint and disappointment is with the battery. It's done and gone in 12- 16 minutes, max, which even with its strength, isnt long enough for the full front yard, nevermind the back. I am looking at a second battery, obviously, but will be hugely disappointed if, for this price point, is another let down. I have an ego mower and those batteries are more than sufficient. Here's hoping EGO gets it right with the next battery.

Light weight and powerful enough for me. Blows leaves easily. Blows small rocks from my sidewalk back to the driveway. Even my wife uses it. Trigger action makes it easy to power up the air flow. I blow out the garage rather than sweep. takes way less time and gets into the corners. It is fun to use. I love it. After 3 charges the charger quit working. I called customer service, registered it, and told them of the problem. They sent out a replacement the next day. I am very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this battery-powered blower a few months ago when I started my gutter cleaning service. I needed to move lightly and quickly across the roof, cordless and without the weight of a gas-powered one, but with enough power to remove leaves stuck deep in the gutter. This model claims 670 CFM, and in my case, it has allowed me to work continuously on the roofs. What I've observed in use: The power helps me remove debris stuck inside the gutter. The cordless format makes it easier to move around the roof. When working at full power, the battery lasts no more than ..1 hour. To extend the usage time, I adjust the power according to my needs. So far, it has worked well for me when cleaning gutters and roofs. Regarding the long-term battery life, I'm still observing how it performs over time.

This guy has some power! I was surprised. Regular mode, which is great, and TURBO MODE which is crazy powerful (buy naturally kills the battery faster). It charges fast. It's super easy to take the battery on and off. Happy with this purchase.

Bought our first EGO leaf blower in October of 2016 and it is still going strong but when I saw the 615cfm unit on sale complete with battery and charger for less than I spent nine years ago, I figured it was a no brainer. I also have an EGO string trimmer and hedge cutter. All came with the same 2.5AH battery and charger. The older batteries are getting a bit tired but I rotate them all through yard chores and they all still work and charge. Works well to have multiple charger and batteries to complete long tasks.
