OK, it's a leaf blower. You don't use it a whole lot, though it is quite handy. You can knock all the excess grass clippings away after yard trimming in no time. And to my surprise after finally popping the money for one, it's actually fun! Especially now that I don't spend 15 minutes sweeping and bagging those clippings anymore. Really, tool people, get you a leaf blower. It's not going to be your most used tool, but you'll appreciate it. Ok, I've already got an EGO yard trimmer and an EGO hedge trimmer which you would do well to find a way to try out somehow. They are really powerful and no more fuss and muss with extension cords or mixing gas. You pop the battery in and you go to work. They are fantastic! So I got the leaf blower with the battery and charger, no good reason for that other than you save money on those by getting the package. That way I have an extra because the batteries are indeed, interchangeable with all the EGO tools accept the chainsaw. KNOW that if this is your FIRST EGO tool, you WILL need to purchase the one with the battery and charger. But if you have another EGO tool with the battery and/or charger, you can can save a considerable amount of money by just getting the blower. Now I got this one, which is 3 steps up from the entry level, simply because it was on sale at the time and the same price as the entry level one. I believe I'm glad I did. It really blows powerfully. And that's what's fun about it, if only for a couple of minutes. I believe it's totally safe though. My boys (adult) get a little stupid with it blowing their mouths all wild and open and for tick-tock and such. God favors the silly, but I put safety goggles on them and you may be wise to consider that when legiteamately using all EGO tools too. Like I said, they are powerful. Now a little about EGO batteries. The replacements are pricey, which I think is what detours people away from EGO. But know that they last a very LONG time. I got my EGO string trimmer with my first battery about 5 years ago and I regularly trim 3 big yards. It is just now beginning to loose charge time. And the chargers will last forever so you really only need one, which can save you some money too. I did get another charger and battery with the hedge trimmer package though, which again, saved me some cash by buying the package. This way I can always have a fully charged backup or two, which I sometimes need. Expect about 2 hours of charge for the lawn trimmer, 3 or 4 for the hedge trimmer, and I think the blower will hold charge forever. So, I'm an EGO fan and thinking about getting the chainsaw maybe if my gas powered one ever goes out. I hear it is very powerful too. The lawnmower is just too pricey for me at this point and I mow a lot of grass to be using an electric mower, but who knows? Now, I wouldn't consider this for professional lawn care. You guys would need like 20 batteries to get through the day with these. This is purely for landlords and personal yard work. And, I like it! ... show more

We have a million trees in our backyard that drop leaves and sticks 365 days a year. My husband has a stihl backpack blower that is amazing, but I wanted something that I could get out easily for daily maintenance. And this exceeded expectations! So simple to use, fairly lightweight, but still powerful enough to clear my backyard for the kids to play without being covered in leaves and debris. Update: this leaf blower was purchased in the summer of 2023. We used it to blow leaves autumn 2023, 2024, 2025. It is still going strong!! This leaf blower is absolutely amazing! Yes, we have bypass the one year warranty. It obviously shows this is of high-quality because of the true longevity. Not only do we use this during the autumn to blow leaves. We use this in the spring when there’s leftover leaves that have blown across into our yard from the winter winds. We have a lot of trees and I use this leaf blower to blow sticks during the spring cleanup. I would say this leaf blower is used 75% the year. I can’t say what I paid versus the cost now but it was well worth the cost. It is so lightweight. I use it with my one hand, my right hand which I broke my wrist years ago. It doesn’t bother me whatsoever. My husband uses it during the summertime to blow grass from our blacktop driveway after he cuts it and we have a very long black top driveway. This is perfect for blowing many things. I cannot recommend that highly enough! Original review: This leaf blower was a great investment! We own a lot of property with a lot of trees & come Autumn a lot of leaves. We have a huge gas leaf blower that blows most of the leaves. This comes in handy with leftover loose leaves. My video says it all! The video I used as example for the low & high speed of this leaf blower. It has a lot of power! Keep in mind my husband is blowing WET leaves. On high speed it will last 45 minutes. It takes about 3-4 hours to charge the battery. It’s lightweight & easy to maneuver. The switch to change the speed cycles is in a convenient location. Bought this to clean up the acorns and dead leaves around my chicken coop. I keep slipping on the acorns, and it truly is a pain in the butt. 😂 This blower is definitely powerful enough to blow them away and then some! It’s perfect for my needs. The only downside is that the battery lasted about 20 minutes or so while going back and forth between high and boost modes, but it does charge pretty quickly. The material is durable. Pulled this EGO 530 CFM out of the box, slid in the charged 2.5 Ah battery, and was blowing oak leaves off the driveway within ten minutes. On the medium setting it moves a thick carpet of dry leaves at walking speed and keeps the noise low enough that my neighbor didn’t even look up. Hit the turbo button and it muscles through wet clumps and gravel with power that genuinely feels on par with my old two-stroke, minus the fumes and pull-cord drama. Runtime has been better than expected: roughly twenty-five minutes on medium, about ten if I lean on turbo the whole time. That’s enough to clear a quarter-acre yard and still have juice left to dry the car after washing. The balanced handle and light weight mean my forearm isn’t cooked afterward, and the variable-speed trigger lets me feather airflow around mulch beds without making a mess. Minor gripe: turbo drains the battery fast, so I picked up a spare pack for marathon fall clean-ups. Still, the convenience of pop-in power and silent early-morning starts makes this kit an easy recommendation if you’re ready to ditch gas or tangled extension cords. ... show more

Does the job. Not as loud as a gas version that I used used. No mixing gas or buying ore mixed gas. Battery life is very good. They sell higher CFM models but for me it does the job at a lower cost. I live in Florida and don’t have much trees but does a great job blowing off the driveway and side walk from grass clippings. There is a boost button for stubborn dirt caused by edging.
