Very happy with the pool - well constructed and not difficult to assemble. You definitely want to set it up on as level a surface as you can, tho it seems sturdy enough to accommodate some MILD slope. I was a novice to pools and it was generally straight forward, though the instructions on how to use the chemicals with the pool could have been far clearer. Thankfully, the local pool supply store was helpful. But beware, the product description on Amazon indicates that a ground tarp, and a pool cover are included. Neither was included in the shipment, tho the box with the pool did include everything advertised on the box. Since we didn't want to argue about it with the provider, and then wait for weeks for the items to show up, we ended up buying large tarps from the local hardware store which was probably better. The large tarp we used for a cover had grommets along the edges which we could use to tie down the tarp to the pool frame to prevent it from blowing away and it is made from a heavier gauge material. However, because it was a rectangular, and the pool round, we decided to spend the money to buy the Summer Waves cover. First, it took about a month to arrive. And when it did arrive, it was the thinnest, cheapest piece of plastic you could imagine. And the drawstring was essentially useless. Could never make it tight enough to make it be secure on the pool. It was the worst $75 I've ever spent. Some last bit of advise; when filling the pool make sure your hose is clean, any dirt on the hose will end up in your pool and it will take forever to have it picked up by the filter. Clean your filter regularly. And finally, keep a shallow bucket with water next to the ladder to rinse off your feet before going into the pool. Enjoy it! ... show more

    • Puncture fast was only good for one summer

We bought this last year, 4/2021. The description says puncture proof but its not. We cleaned the area where we sat it down and made sure it was lined underneath. After last years swim season was over my husband let it dry off and put it away. This year when we set it up we noticed some water around the pool and we thought it was just spalls splashing. The next day after we had just filled ot was almost half empty! We drained the water and searched for any punctures. I found a small one on the bottom of the pool so I purchased a pool patch repair kit. After patching it up we letnit sit the rest of the day before filling to make sure the patch kit had sat enough. The next day I filled the pool and once again water was getting emptied quick from the same hole. Ive had tso different ones and both were punctured after one summer. We were hoping we coupd keep it nice for at least 3 years but that never happened 😫😫 ... show more

    • The pool is nice, but pump failed in 59th day - company did the right thing

The pool is nice for smaller children (under 12) and the frame is well designed. My younger kids love playing in it. It’s large enough for older kids and adults to hang out and fits about 3 people with social distancing. Setup: you need a level surface with less than 2 inches of grade over 10 feet. But putting the pool together is very easy, like putting a tent up. There are only a few different part types so it’s not easy to mix anything up. It takes about 30 minutes to set up the frame and another 30 minutes to attach the pump to the side wall. The pump was pre-assembled even though the instructions explain how to mount the motor to the housing, this was already done. Depending on your house water pressure from your house it will take another hour or more to fill the pool to the right level. Operation: this pool is super easy to use. The pump has a nice reset button to turn it on and it runs quietly over night to filter the water. There’s a second button to turn it off. Defects: to keep the pool water clean, it’s recommended to run the pump for 12+ hours a day. After 59 days of use the pump completely failed. The manufacturer initially qualified this for a replacement under warranty and understandably asked to cut the power cable in half and email a picture to verify, then they would send a replacement. After doing this, they replied with a apology that they couldn’t honor the warranty, but recommended contacting the seller. The seller replied quickly that they couldn’t sell me pump because they are out of stock. It’s sad that the seller, The Middle if Everywhere, and manufacturer, Polygroup, both don’t honor the warranty. Update: Polygroup customer service is impressive - even though the failed pump didn't qualify for a replacement because of the reseller it was sold through (on Amazon) must not have a warranty agreement, they decided to approve the replacement and said they were unfortunately out of stock. But a week ago they called and said it's on it's way. It arrived yesterday. It's really great to see an American company standing behind it's brand. I've updated the rating to 3 stars and will eventually go up to a 4 star in a few months if the new pump is reliable. ... show more

We decided to buy this as our first pool, a sort of "testing the water" to pool ownership before getting something larger. This was very easy to set up and is fairly sturdy. The kids absolutely love it. HOWEVER, we have had it set up less than two weeks and the pump stopped working. I contacted Amazon but they said I have to contact the manufacturer. The replacement pump is $40.00 plus shipping, for the pump alone! So I would have to spend an extra $50-60 to replace the pump, on a pool we have only had set up for less than 2 weeks. That's nearly half the amount I spent on the entire pool! And my fear is that the replacement will only last a week or two as well. So here it is, one of the hottest days so far this summer, and I have 4 kids that can't get in their pool. VERY disappointed. The pool itself isn't bad, as I said, it is a nice size and easy set up. My kids loved it....the few days they actually got to use it before the pump stopped. ... show more

The kids love the pool but it really sucks not having the pump working. I see from other reviews that they had the same problem. I don’t recommend this product.

My kids absolutely love this pool. It's the perfect size for 5 and 6 year olds. Fairly easy to assemble and the filter system works good. You're definitely gonna want to pick up a skimmer, brush, vacuum and chemicals when you buy it. Worth every penny.
