We installed these last week and already they've saved my son some serious booboos. He's learning out to walk and uses our coffee to cruise, but sometimes his feet don't do what he wants and he takes a tumble. Last week, the table gave him a good one-two hit, where he hit the top tier of the table, rolled, and hit the bottom tier. These bumpers definitely saved us from some likely stitches as that table has some very sharp edges. Installation was kind of a pain in the butt, had to roll the sticky tape onto the bumpers, then peel, then stick to the table. It wasn't hard, but it was tedious. They did include a note that stated this is deliberate, because pre-installed glue on the bumpers have come unstuck. The note also says they are working on a fix to this, so hopefully next time it'll be pre installed. The instructions say to unroll the bumper and leave it unrolled for 24 hours...which I completely ignored. Why? Because I'm stubborn. And a mom to a one year old. And don't have the space to unroll it and keep it straight. In the end, it turned out okay. I did notice I did have to cut more after the initial cut, as the pieces ended up being too long, but that's definitely preferred over being to short and having a gap on the border. I had plenty of sticky tape left over, which was very much appreciated as I used it on another project. I did have to gently lift up and reapply one area that kept raising up, and since then it's hung on perfectly! I like that this creates a raised edge on the coffee table so my son can roll his toys around and they don't fall off the other side immediately. I've also noticed that he will occasionally use his teeth on the bumper, and while I am worried about him taking a chunk out, it hasn't happened yet! So far very happy with this purchase.

I have purchased this 4 times already. It is easy to place, it sticks well, it is good quality, and it blends in with the furniture. I used it to baby proof our camper for our 14 month old and let me tell you, it has saved him from many sharp edge bumps. I've seen similar foam products like this at Walmart and for cheaper, however, you can tell the quality is not good. The material from Walmart is cheap and is not as "cushiony". I highly recommend it to any one really.

We’ve had these up for a year now and it has stayed put under our kitchen island. My son has tried to pull of the edges but was only successful with a small piece that was not put on right. This thing really sticks! For good results, I would recommend 2 people install it. My husband helped me install it; however, we didn’t stretch it while applying on so it end up a bit crooked in between. It also left us with a small little gap. We pre-measured it before applying because you will have to apply the double sided tape on side of the protector. It comes with one of sides taped already but not both. We have a lot left over incase we need some for something else.

Ok so before this product, I purchased the clear baby bumper, it was horrible it peeled off within 48 hours and it was just as hard as the tables edge.. THIS product is cushiony soft and actually stays!! I’ve had this for a couple MONTHS now and it’s still sticking, easy to apply, looks great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I have no kids. I have no idea how kids will treat this edge treatment. I do have and office desk and wrists. I have lined the front of my standing/sitting desk with the foam at it removed the strain and biting from front corner off my wrists. The corner pieces give it a finished look.
