I really want to like this product and give it 5 stars. I have been on the lookout for a ‘just right’ mattress topper for a super firm bed that we have. Day 1 review Pros - foam inflated in about 20 minutes and seems to be high quality. The foam goes back to its original shape when you get off the bed - No odour or smell. I was quite worried about this while reading reviews of various products. But nothing to worry about here - this is a MUCH cheaper version ($100 cheaper) of a different product from the same company. The only difference is that this does not come with a cover but the memory foam is exactly the same. I didn’t need a cover so this works great. Cons - I’ve slept in this for about 30 minutes and it runs HOT. There is a noticeable difference. I have a temperature regulating mattress protector that dissipates heat - but even after that this felt hotter - it’s a bit too soft for me. I am trying to get a hotel like feel where the top is soft but with a lot of support for the lower back to avoid pain. So far I get pain when sleeping on my back - though side sleeping is fine. Maybe I should have gotten a 2 inch topper instead of 3 - I also sink in while sitting on the bed to read. This is also not very comfortable in my opinion So overall I would rate it 3.5 stars. Just a little larger than the size of a hospital bed (standard) non fancy type. It is a wonderful addition for comfort, support. Perfectly thick seems to sturdy as well. This is the best foam topper that I have ever used. It works great with the Sleep Zone Cooling topper (also purchased from Amazon). It does not slide around on the mattress. I only wished that I had purchased these prior to the other toppers that I bought.

It adds cushioning, but if you sleep in the same or similar spot every night, it quickly molds to that shape. You'll find yourself waking up to climb out of a hole to get to a different spot on the mattress.
