  • Perfect Summer Pool for Kids
Works perfectly as advertised! Super easy to set up and the kids absolutely love it. Great size for cooling off during hot days and seems durable so far. Definitely worth the purchase.

  • Love it so far.
Just got it today, 2 days sooner than the earliest estimate. It beat the additions I ordered for it, lol. Set it up and it's about half full. So far, no leaks. Set up was relatively simple. Though it does take a bit of muscle to lift the wrinkles out as it's filling. I did as suggested, and when it was about 1/4 full (maybe a little less) I went around and lifted and manipulated it to ease out the wrinkles. It took some doing, and a lot of back and forth. I worked it like changing a tire, opposing sides, back and forth. Pump was easy to install, everything was pretty cut and dry. It seems well built, relatively easy to set up (muscle helps), is of a decent size for relaxing and letting the little ones have some cooling, summer fun. I caught it when the price had dropped, snagged it quick, and the price had almost doubled by the next day. The price does seem to fluctuate, surfing the different sellers could catch the better deal. Overall, very pleased with this purchase at this point in time. Edit: Used it all last summer, with no trouble. We drained and rolled it up, like a burrito, for winter storage. We were able the pool into a large lawn bag without difficulty, though it was a 2 person job. We had no leaks, no trouble at all. The pump is the only thing to complain about, though for the price, we knew it wasn't a great pump. The pump still did the job. Cleaning the filter was an issue, the pump didn't want to deal back up after opening it for the filter. We smeared Vaseline around the seal and fixed that issue. This year, we decided to pay for a better pump. Looking forward to when we can enjoy it again this summer. ... show more

  • 3 seam leaks found on the first fill, but the kids absolutely loved the pool 3 seam leaks found on the first fill, but the kids absolutely loved the pool
Edit: I'm changing my 1 star review to 4 starts for the following reasons. 1) Of the 6 leaks I found on the first use I figured out that I caused 3 of them and the ones on the seam from the factory had a very, very slow leak rate... But this is the most important part of my review: Do not set up the pool on cement. Specially on new driveways! Cement is very porous and will scrape anything you drag on it (ask my kids' knees and elbows). even though I thought I was being very careful to not drag this on the cement as I set it up, it seems I was not careful enough, I would just avoid setting up the pool on cement completely. My solution is gym mats. Get enough to cover 10x10 area and set up the pool on top of those. 2) even though I was upset about finding the leaks I decided to finish filling the pool because the boys were way too psyched about their activity the next day and so I filled it and the next day they had an absolute blast! 6 kids total in the pool which seemed tight but they didn't mind at all. Original review: Easy to assemble? Yes Value for money? For the price, you would think it's good, if it wasn't for the next questions. Durability? 6 pinholes leaking water off the bat. I opened the box where I was going to place the pool, I infolded it, stretched it out and started to fill, all on the same spot. Immediately found 2 pinholes leaking drops of water. Already had an activity planned for the next day so I thought fill the pool, deal with the return later. By the time the pool was halfway filled I found 4 more pinholes leaking water, drop by drop. All the pinholes are on or very close to the bottom seam. I'm returning this one but really having second thoughts about getting a replacement. ... show more

  • Love this pool! Love this pool!
I purchased this pool for myself, having never ever owned a pool, and was a little apprehensive about the 'easy set-up' but it really was easy! The actual water depth is 2 feet. I am 5'3" and if I sit with my legs stretched out the water covers my shoulders. We actually live near the ocean and lakes, but with this Covid thing all of the beaches are closed this summer. This pool so convenient and is great for after my morning work-out to float and stretch and for after work to relax and cool off with a nice adult beverage. 2 or maybe 3 adults can sit comfortably. The pump keeps the water circulating and filtered, and all you'll need is a cover and one of those small floating chlorine dispensers to keep the water clean. (providing you don't let the kids in. This pool is affordable enough to get them their own pool) I would definitely purchase another Summer Waves product. UPDATE- filter pump burnt out after 3 months. It costs more to replace the pump parts than to buy another entire pool and filter....it's a disposable world people!! I still love the pool- will probably buy another next year. ... show more

  • Piece of junk
I’m not much on reviewing products, but I feel like this one is worth doing one. It’s junk plain and simple. It was not difficult to set up, the pump has worked well for what it is (it’s cheap) but I really just wanted something that would keep The water moving. I added some basic pool Chemicals in very small amounts to combat algae and what not. No issues there. Where the real issue is, is the inflatable ring. After about two weeks it won’t hold air. It gets no abuse, just my wife and I floating around. So no kids jumping on it. I’ve been around the whole ring, including using some dish soap to try and find the leak, I cannot find it. Today I re-inflated it, we got in and within 10 min if was back down to half inflation. You would think with that kind of rapid deflation it would be obvious where the leak is but I cannot find it. I would not waste my money on this product. I knew that at this price there was a chance it could be low quality but man was I surprised. I at least expected to get the summer out of it. 2 weeks and it’s basically toast. ... show more

  • Read my comments below to not get into trouble with this pool... if you do IT'L BE GREAT!!! Read my comments below to not get into trouble with this pool... if you do IT'L BE GREAT!!!
First off I had a HORRIBLE situation with the first one of these I received. I didn't read all the negative reviews until AFTER the first pool had arrived. The #1 thing to remember IS TO ONLY ORDER THIS PRODUCT FROM A SELLER THAT IS "FULFILLED BY AMAZON". Non-Amazon fulfillment NULLIFIES your manufacturer's 90-day warranty because the little nobody-sellers aren't authorized resellers for Polygroup; you will ONLY have your Amazon A-Z satisfaction warranty - after that NOTHING. As far as the pictures of people with un-round, lopsided and mis-shapen pools - that's all 100% user-error. I did what you're not supposed to - I setup on sandy soil topped with landscaping gravel AND MY POOL IS 100% PERFECTLY ROUND. Wanna know the secret? Take a tape measure and mark out 10' from the center of where you want it then use a 4' level to "rake" the ground radially from the center point around the entire radius of the pool area until its level. Oh and throw a $3 tarp from Harbor Freight under it. THAT'S IT, THAT'S THE BIG SECRET. You can use household bleach as chlorine in your small pool; it actually works better than tablets. Initial treatment is 4oz per 1000 gal, which raises chlorine to 2ppm (the desired chlorine level for a pool is between 1-3ppm). After the initial treatment you're going to have to start using test strips to see how much to add and when you need to add it. Household bleach is the SAME THING as liquid pool chlorine, but at half the strength. The cover that they sell specifically for this pool fits and looks great. USE IT if you don't want the sun to burn and ruin the inflatable ring on the pool. Assume your going to buy a new cover every year because of the sun damage. Also remember to leave the the inflated ring a little under inflated initially. You want to inflated to proper tightness WHEN THE HEAT AND SUN IS AT ITS PEAK. This is to avoid "blowing out" the inflated ring due to increase in air pressure due to thermal expansion - common sense, right? Finally, don't be shy about spraying this thing down with Armor All - its equivalent to SPF 40 protection for the vinyl - if you want this thing to last you'll keep it coated with something to cut down on the damage caused by the ever-present sun. The filter is straightforward and SILENT and it moves a respectable volume of water - sufficient to circulate the water in this size pool ... show more

  • Lots of Air Leaks
I bought this pool and it was delivered on June 5th. I set it up on the concrete patio under an overhead deck. It’s in the shade all day and we keep it covered until the grand-kids come to swim once a week. Everything was fine and the pool worked well for the first 3 weeks. Then it started to develop air leaks in the inflatable ring. Currently there are about 9 holes in random locations on the ring. I have patch them with clear “Gorilla Tape”. While the tape works well, I keep getting new holes at a rate of 1 to 2 a week. The holes are about 1/8” to 1/4” in diameter and the shape is either oval or round. When the air ring goes flat, water spills over the top of the pool. Since the holes develop when there is no pool activity, I am guessing that this is a manufacturing or material defect. There have been no problems with either the lower portion of the pool holding the water or the pump. ... show more

  • Easy Set Up Easy Set Up
We wanted a pool for the summer without spending a lot of money. I was disappointed how expensive pools were (probably due to increased demand from the effects of COVID19), and we ended up getting this one for about $180-$190 shipped. It doesn't look very sturdy in most people's photos, so I thought it was going to be a piece. Thankfully, I was wrong! This pool is so much nicer than what I thought we were getting. I still don't know if it'll last more than a season, but we are happy with what we got. It was easy to set up. We followed the instructions for the filter because of some reviews that said it burnt out right away. Ours has been working great for two hours now. The instructions to say to run it 2.5 hours a day, so that's what we intend to do. We're very happy so far! Update: We've had our pool for one month now, and we're still happy with our purchase. We ended up buying a pool cover, chlorine tablets for the filter, test strips to make sure the chlorine is at a safe level, extra filter cartridges, and a shock treatment. Also, we bought a vinyl patch kit. Why a patch kit? Well, we got a hole on the rim of our pool, and it started to deflate! We initially patched it with flex tape that we had, which worked for a few days but eventually let air out. We re-patched it with flex tape a couple more times while we waited for the vinyl patch kit to arrive. It's been patched with the vinyl patch it for about a week now and is doing fine. So, you may want to consider having a vinyl patch kit on hand just in case you get a hole in the rim of your pool, too. ... show more
