It’s a little bit smaller than I had anticipated, but it does work wonderfully. I would have preferred to have a larger Pizzelli press, but this one works just fine. My family was happy to have them once more. It brings back a lot of memories from when their grandmother would make them at Christmas time.

Tasty Pizzelles! The pizzelle maker is easy to use and clean (if you don’t top with or use granulated sugar-sticks and makes a mess). The thickness is good enough to make a crisp crunch. Cooking time is a bit over a minute making the pizzelles a nice light brown. A lighter-color pizzelle would be good, too, but not as crisp-crunchy as a light brown one. I try to avoid using eggs, so I had to modify the given recipe a bit. The design is very pretty, but will take me a while to get it centered. More to practice, more to eat. Enjoy! I also bought a ‘cup lid gap cleaning brush’ that became handy to brush off the pizzelle crumbs off the pizzelle maker if any crumbs gets stuck. Enjoy the delicious pizzelles!

It's alright. This leaks tons of butter when I use it for pizzelles, which could also be my error or the machine, meaning it's extremely messy and hard to clean up. Also, when I try to push down doughs into flatter shapes, the hinge that "secures" the latch doesn't clip sometimes, and I feel like it's going to break. Color is fine, but got stained with my butter after a while, no matter how much I tried to clean it off.

I searched these for weeks and ended up going with this smaller less expensive one since every review had highs and lows. The lows usually being uneven heating. I decided to go with this cheaper one to try my hand at making Pizzelles and if it didn't do great I wouldn't be so mad. When it came the box was in very bad shape. You could tell someone had it before and returned it because it was taped up all across the box with the inner flaps taped on the outside of the box. I was annoyed because I paid for a new grill and that's what I expected to get so I opened it to look at it. I could tell the maker hadnt been used, although the box had clearly been opened. It was clean, the cord was still twisted and the plug covers were on the plug ends. It was in new condition and very clean so I decided to keep it. I think when the last owner saw how small it was they sent it back. But it makes 2 four inch cookies. The heating was even and took about 1 minute per 2 cookies to make. I wiped it down with cooking oil and none of the cookies stuck thereafter. I was really impressed with it. There are also recipes in the box which is almost exact to the one I had. I think this grill is a good choice but if you want the larger 5 inch cookies it's not for you. Of note, the dough spread out when closed so I used my own 4 inch cookie cutter and cut around then when they came off the grill to trim them up.
