The board itself looks fine. It’s as pictured and seems sturdy enough (though the frame stand looks like it’ll eventually break). However, the product description is not what you get. The product description when I bought this item says you get 340 3/4 inch letters. Well, I got 170 3/4 inch letters, plus some weird mini ones thrown in as an “extra gift” apparently. Except I didn’t want mini ones...I wanted the 3/4 inch ones, as described. And how can you throw in an “extra gift” if you didn’t even include the whole product? Also, it says the letters come in a cotton bag. Nope again. A plastic bag with holes in it. It’s not worth returning but it bothers me when the product advertised is not what you get. ... show more

Really cute board. I used it to add a little something to a mini bar. The only downside its how hard the letter are to detach from the grid they come on. I broke 2 'L' letters before I decided to go ahead and ruin a pair of scissors by sawing the letters off.

Love this board. Bought it specifically for 4th baby announcement. But I can see using it for birthdays, parties, announcing when baby is born, milestone, etc. Did had some black dust residue around the frame, guessing from the felt fabric. A humid paper towel took care of that. Plenty of letters. Very tedious to cut letter out but it's great overall. ... show more

I ended up returning another board to get this one instead and have no regrets. I didn’t want a fancy one with a million emojis or symbols. Just a simple board for our newborn and monthly baby update pics. This was everything I needed at a great price! It’s also not as bulky as the other one I got which is matters a lot for me in our tiny one bedroom apartment. This definitely is a no frills board if that’s what you’re looking for. The big letters are all capitalized and the small letters have a both capital and lower case. There’s a few punctuation marks and numbers and that’s it but for me, that’s more than enough! Also, it has a stand built in so I don’t have to worry about losing the stand if they get separated. The other one I had came with a block that it sat into which I didn’t like. ... show more

Love this board. For what you pay, its a sturdy board, letters are great and easy to use, grey felt is a lovely colour, perfect size. For something you dont use more than every few months its a good option and I dont see the need to pay for a more expensive one. This one does a great job. The stand on the back is great for a busy toddler when you need to stand it up near them for those quick snaps. May of the other boards didnt have back stands. ... show more

Bought this to use as a first day of preschool sign for my kiddo. Looks nice & was easy to apply the letters. Came with plenty of letters, numbers & symbols, so I thought it was a good value for the money. However, my 4 1/2 yr old grabbed the sign once it was done & tried to stand it up using the stand on the back & it broke off completely. Seemed to almost be made of paper or very thin cardboard, cheaply made. She wasn’t rough with it at all, so I’m sure it would’ve broken for me as well. Purchased this on a whim to use for daily inspiration and am really happy with it! Plenty of letters to create with. They are a bit difficult to separate from the plastic so I used sharp tipped scissors to make the job easier. The plastic pouch included is basically useless so I store the letters in a small jar. I bought 2 of these. One for my 12 year old niece, and another for my 10 year old son. They both loved them. They use them to write Bible verses and stuff, and it's nice because it has 2 different sizes of letters. They are a little bit of a pain to rip the letters apart, but not that big of deal.
