Is this used and defective? Packaging seemed as if a customer had returned this - treadmill upside down in box, manual folded, plastic half off. Plugged it in and flipped the power switch. Treadmill does not light up or turn on. After being plugged in for a few minutes, it started smoking. Terrible

My expensive treadmill bit the dust so I got this as a temporary treadmill until I find another expensive one that I like. The reason I gave it four stars is because the handlebar is very wobbly no matter how many times you tighten the screws and The Handlebar also leans forward which is very awkward. Other than that the treadmill is just fine and I always walk at 3.6 speed 3 miles in the morning and 3 Mi at night. I don't feel like it's a sturdy enough treadmill to run on but I could be wrong. If I have to get off the treadmill before I'm done for any reason it will not time out for 10 minutes and I love that function. If you can get past the problem with the handlebar you will love this treadmill! ... show more

Been using it a week now and loving it. Easy set up and it's quite. Haven't used it for running yet. Easy to adjust belt when needed. Used it at 4.0 mph but love the fact I can up speed if I want to. Easy to move around. Worth the money

This treadmill has been a great addition to my home setup. It’s compact, easy to fold, and fits perfectly in smaller spaces, which is exactly what I needed. I use it mostly for walking and light jogging while working from home, and for that, it does the job really well. The handlebar and incline options give it a little more versatility than some other under-desk treadmills, which I really appreciate. It also feels surprisingly sturdy given the size and weight. That said, there are a few things that could definitely be improved. First, the power cord is really short. I had to move it closer to an outlet or use an extension cord, which is not ideal. Second, while I love that it's compact, 7 miles an hour feels too fast for a treadmill of this size. It’s great for walking, but I would not feel comfortable going full speed on it—it’s just not wide or long enough to safely run without being super careful. Another thing to note is that it can get a little noisy, especially at higher speeds. It’s not super loud, but if you’re in a shared space or trying to stay quiet while others are around, it’s something to keep in mind. Also, adjusting the settings is a bit clunky. The remote works, but it’s not the most intuitive setup and takes a little getting used to. All that said, I’m still happy with the purchase. I just tend to have high standards when it comes to gear like this. For the price and space-saving design, it’s a solid treadmill for walking, light jogging, or keeping active while working from home. If you go in knowing its limitations, it’s definitely a worthwhile buy. ... show more
