    • Outstanding Compact Weapon Light – Power Meets Precision
The Streamlight TLR-7 HL-X Sub is an absolute game-changer for compact and subcompact pistol platforms. I’ve been running this on my EDC setup for a few months now, and it checks every box: size, brightness, reliability, and ergonomics. The 1,000-lumen output is incredibly impressive for such a compact light—it throws a wide, clean beam that fully illuminates dark rooms and outdoor spaces. Perfect for target identification without excessive splash or blinding backwash. It’s ideal for both home defense and concealed carry. Build quality is what you'd expect from Streamlight: rugged, dependable, and built to take a beating. The controls are intuitive, especially with the ambidextrous paddles. Activation is smooth and responsive, even under stress. It also fits snugly and securely on my rail with zero wobble. Battery access is easy (no need to remove the light from the gun), and runtime is solid considering the high output. I also appreciate that it comes with multiple key inserts for different handgun models—Streamlight clearly paid attention to compatibility and user needs. Very bright, comes with rechargeable cr-123, has strobe mode ability if you want to activate that (ten quick clicks of single button, hold tenth click till strobes) Lightweight, also comes with upper tab buttons or lower profile buttons

Super easy to install. Super bright. I can completely illuminate my neighbors whole house from ~50 yards away. The buttons are very easy to use, the long press and short press options are very easy to intentionally switch between. It fits good on my Glock 43x, protrudes maybe ~.5-.75 inch from the front of the barrel. Easy to just recharge the battery that comes with it. ... show more
