  • Perfect for Subcompact Carry Handguns
Style: Exclusively for 1913 Short models
This little weapon light is excellent for its size and price point. Aesthetically it is handsome on many carry gun models and works very well. Durability is excellent, but battery life is somewhat low, as lumens diminish rapidly once the battery begins to drain past 50% life. Expect to get only 30 minutes of continuous run time at the full 500 lumens. This is not a huge point of contention though, as for its roll it will not be used terribly often outside of range training. Keep a fresh battery in it every month if you train with it much or replace the battery every 2-3 months if you are only carrying it to ensure it stays topped off and ready for "duty". The focus of the beam is very good for a small light such as this, and is usable to clearly identify what is in front of you out to about 35 or 40 yards. Cast/spill of the light is also good, providing enough illumination to be able to see about 20 degrees off center-line with your periphery vision. I believe that this has higher value for the price-point than the competing Surefire model, although you do give up some things to the Surefire. Overall, highly recommended for its purpose. ... show more

  • Super Quality Light for Sig P365XL
Style: Exclusively for SIG P365/P365XL
Light just oozes quality. The 500 lumens is absolutely plenty for a small CCW weapon. If you are shooting further than say 25+ yards it may not be the best option but who does that with a CCW anyway. Pluses: Battery can be changed without removing light from gun Quality Build 2 different options for where switch is pressed Constant, Momentary, Strobe(read instructions for strobe) Plenty bright enough for CCW Fits my P365XL like a glove and looks to be made for the gun Streamlight name is known in the light field as a great light Warranty Lightweight/Compact (I cant feel a difference at all in weight with or without mounted Looks really good on Sig Cons Have to buy batteries Have to change batteries Have to buy a specific holster for the TLR 7 Sub (I have seen plenty of choices) Get it if you want a light. Much cheaper than the Surefire which is a good light as well, but similar quality. ... show more

  • Best compact sized light for the Hellcat
Style: Exclusively for SA Hellcat
I've had this light on my Hellcat for around 5k rounds, its seen indoor static and outdoor dynamic shooting and been dropped a couple of times and its still holding up. For the price its reliability is top notch, the brightness is very useable without having to sacrifice space on a concealed carry setup, and the controls are very intuitive and easy to train. ... show more

  • So far so good!
Style: Exclusively for SIG P365/P365XL
Looks great, have it on my P365X and it looks great. Throws good light and locks on well, but it does extend past the barrel with X model, so if you want something flush fitting you might want something else. I noticed during shooting when leaving my thumb against the switches the recoil would tear my thumb up a bit with the sharp edges, but choking up on the grip and resting my thumb against the takedown switch instead was fine. But my hands run big and the P365 is pretty small, so it might not be an issue for everyone. ... show more

  • It's BRIGHT and easy to install. Pricey. But not as pricey as others.
Style: Exclusively for GLOCK 43X/48 MOS, 43X/48...
I bought this light for a G48 MOS lower with a rail. What I like about this combination is that the light is easy to put on and take off for whatever the need is. When dismounted it make a dandy flashlight and is brighter than my other stand alone lights. I have a TLR-6 with a laser for a G43x. I like that a lot, especially because it has a laser. The one drawback with that light is that it is not designed to put on and take off regularly and if the laser is zeroed we don't want to disturb that. The 7 sub might be TOO BRIGHT for certain indoor situations. You don't want to blind yourself in an encounter with light reflecting off the walls or going from deep darkness to very very bright. That's up to you. I find the TLR-6's 100 lumens adequate and the 7 sub more than bright enough. I'm glad it isn't any brighter. One other thing... I thought that having the 7-sub attached when carrying would be more uncomfortable with the extra bulk. It is not. I find it very comfortable and the holster is wide enough that a claw isn't needed, at least for the holster I have for it. The sad thing is that it is MUCH more expensive than it was a year or two ago as is the TLR-6. As a comparison, I bought a 6 about 2 years ago for $88. Today it's $113, a 22% increase in price. I suspect the Sub-7 underwent a similar price increase, at $131. The price is the only real negative that I can submit and IMO should be under $100. But caveat emptor. It's up to you if it's worth it. Obviously I chose it in spite of the price. ... show more

  • Engineered Very Well
Style: Exclusively for GLOCK 43X/48 MOS, 43X/48...
I use this light on my Glock 43x. I beat the crap out of my stuff training. I use this teaching classes and I have another one I use on my Self Defense Firearm. Battery life is solid, however you should always carry extra batteries for anything that relies on batteries to work. The brightness of this firearm light is great. It’s not to much that it washes out everything, yet bright enough to reach self defense distances and target identification. Light bezel rotates to lock out the on/off function which is very nice if your traveling. The manipulation paddles the engage the light are placed perfectly and work flawlessly. I have small hands and it’s perfect. I do have friends with larger hands, who have used the the firearm light, they also say it’s perfectly placed. I have used this in all weather conditions and mud. I have had zero failures or malfunctions. On the lens portion of the light bezel, I use original chapstick thin coating on the lens. This helps with powder residue coating the light lens. When it gets dirty simply wipe it off and a new thin coat of chapstick is applied and you back in business bright white light. Overall a very good firearm light for the money. I would argue that it’s just as good as surefire for half the money. Their customer service is great. I have had many streamlight products. I have never had an issues with the warranty department. ... show more
