I haven't done anything but mount it. It seems secure enough, but only time will tell. I received a polymer not aluminum body but the add never claimed to be aluminum as some have said. Personally I like the polymer body, my rifle is heavy enough already. The green laser is quite bright, much brighter than the stand alone red laser I have mounted on the rifle at the moment, I plan to zero the green laser on the red laser as it is nail driver zeroed now and then take it off. .The flashlight is brighter than the other weapon lights I own, quite bright indeed. The controls are nice and intuitive and easily accessible at the rear. The magnetic charge port is great and charged fast, on the rifle the first time. It looks good on the rifle. I will update you here after range day. If it runs and holds zero it will be a great value for the price point. So far I'm impressed. It will be dark here in 45 minutes. If the light and laser can reach my treeline I will be quite pleased. Looks like a keeper so far. UPDATE, it is quite bright, both the light and the green laser, the laser is scary bright. Next update after range day.

The TOUGHSOUL Tactical Flashlight Green Red Laser Sight Combo is an impressive piece of gear that delivers reliability, performance, and versatility in one package. -This flashlight is extremely bright, providing excellent visibility in low-light conditions. -The green laser is incredibly sharp and visible, even in daylight, while the red laser works great in darker environments. Both are easy to adjust and hold their zero perfectly, enhancing precision during use. -The construction is rugged and designed for tactical use. It mounts securely to Picatinny or M-LOK rails without any wobble, and it stays in place even during heavy recoil. -The rechargeable battery is a huge plus by saving money on replacements with the charging process being straightforward and quick. -Switching between flashlight modes and laser settings is intuitive. Both the flashlight and laser are bright. Battery life seems good. I wish it had a more common charging connector (USB) since I'm concerned about misplacing the magnetic charging cable, but I understand wanting to make it weather resistant. The buttons are well placed for easy thumb operation, and they are designed to easily distinguish between the flashlight and laser in the dark. It was easy to connect to the rail, and holds tight. The materials feel solid, and the unit appears well constructed. I like the low-profile design that stays out of the way for storage. Very good for the price.

Overall first impressions are very favorable. Easy and fast charging (arrived mostly charged). Easy installation on my rifle’s picatinny rail. Easy to adjust the laser to co-witness with my open sights. White light is very bright with a tight beam that reaches well over 100 yards. The green laser will also reach and is easily visible at night to well over 100 yards. Very easy to use and I appreciate having separate buttons to activate the laser and white light; push on/off, push and hold for momentary on, quick push and release then push again to activate the strobe function. All buttons and adjustment points are clearly labeled. Still need to perform final sighting in but I don’t anticipate any issues with that. The instructions are actually in coherent English and are surprisingly thorough. Hex wrenches for installation and laser adjustment are included, as are the proprietary charging cord (USB-A to magnetic attachment point), mlok attachment pieces and even includes extra spacers to address unique needs. For the price this is an impressively complete set. The unit itself is compact and “streamlined” such that there are few hard edges other than the front lens. The body is polymer rather than metal so might not be ideal for “combat” conditions but the water / dust resistance rating suggests it should stand up well to everyday use during hunting season or other occasional activities. Haven’t had it long enough to evaluate battery life (battery does NOT appear to be replaceable) but it’s advertised to last a little over an hour of continuous use so again, for the price, a reasonable occasional use device. So why only 4 stars? Mainly due to the advertised relatively shorter battery life using the white light (which I haven’t yet verified) compared to, say, a much more well known and more expensive option.

I love this item I put it on an ar 15 on the right side just a bit past my fore grip and can easily press both button with my index comfortably, the size is good for me and fits great with my Mlok shroud. Since I have an acog set at 100 yard zero distance I set this one for 75 yards so this way I can quick scope onto a target in the event I need to. The quality is great because its a solid attachment, the durability is great as I have already put some use to it and it hasn't let me down yet, although laser does shift a bit with use so continue boresighting as it does have a slight issue with slipping however not by a huge margin like maybe 1/8th of inch so I am good with that personally. Worth while buy great product 10/10 would recommend.

I put this on a 9mm short barrel pcc, mainly so my wife can just point and shoot. I was amazed at how well it works. At 7 yards or stayed on zero and kept going through 500 rounds, over two range trips. Great product.
