  • Sets the standard for weapon lights
Color: Black Style: Rail-Lock Mount Pattern Name: WeaponLight
Was worried that I would be buying a clone becausethe price was $100 less than everywhere else, but I got an authentic Surefire. It's bright, works and fits perfectly. Surefire sets the standard for quality and it lives up to the hype. I like the intuitive functioning of the switch press for momentary and up/down for constant, it's WAY better than Streamlight. You get what you pay for, love it so much I purchased a second one for my rifle. ... show more

  • Great quality !
Color: Black Style: T-Slot Mount Pattern Name: WeaponLight
Originally thought batteries were missing but they were inside the light! Light works great and is incredibly bright! Fits perfect on my glock19x and matches my OWB perfectly. Love the light, highly recommend!

  • Exceptional Light
Color: Black Style: Rail-Lock Mount Pattern Name: WeaponLight
This is a very bright light that just feels and feels like solid quality. I have it mounted on a Glock 17 and it fits perfectly. Pros: Solid, quality construction Metal housing Lightweight Bright Easy to operate Easy to install/remove Balance It just feels like a solid light, and even looking at it in the package you could tell it would be a quality product. The aluminum body is strong and makes the whole unit lightweight. This light is very bright and is pretty easy to turn on with one finger. Momentary on is accomplished by pushing the switch forwards (towards the lens) and is easily accomplished with an outstretched finger without changing grip. Constant on requires spinning the switch clockwise OR counterclockwise. I was able to do this with the same single finger as momentary on. Using the lever lock, it's easy and quick to install and remove the light. Just pull down on the lever and slide it on/off. The other mounting method, the Rail-Lock, is also easy to install. The Rail-Lock is similar to the lever lock in that it locks into a rail slot but you need to use an allen wrench to tighten a sort of friction lock against the weapon. Both are very solid mounting options though. This light doesn't weigh much, 4 ounces according to SureFire, but it does help balance the weapon in hand. Cons: No light lockout Changing batteries requires removing the unit from the weapon No strobe Expensive There is no lockout on the light, so it is possible that the light could get turned on accidentally in a weapons case or bag. Changing the battery does require removal of the light from the weapon. On a pistol it would most likely be backed up to the trigger guard, and on a rifle the battery door opens towards the rail and thus cannot open far enough to remove the battery. If you install this light on a rail riser, you may be able to open the door without removing the unit. However, as I said above, it's very easy to install and remove the unit so this is not too much of a problem. This unit does not have strobe, it wasn't advertised to have it but some of the other light in this range to have that feature. It is an expensive light for just being a light. However, for the brightness and quality of the unit I would say it is justified. Recommendations: It's an excellent light. There are brighter ones, and cheaper ones. This is the first weapon light I have used, so I cannot compare to others. However, recognizing the quality in this unit I would definitely recommend this light to others looking for one. ... show more

  • It's a SureFire, so you already know it nearly indestructible and awesome.
Color: Black Style: T-Slot Mount Pattern Name: WeaponLight
It's a SureFire, so you already know it nearly indestructible and awesome. The price is crazy high, but how much is a reliable parachute worth when the plane's on fire? What happens if it doesn't work when you need it? Fits on Glock or 1913 Pic rail with included cross-bars for each. Fastens with a thumb screw which can be tightened with a penny or Tasco chamber flag. Rule 4 of firearms: Be certain of your target and what's beyond it. If it's dark, how are you going to do that without a weapon light? If you plan to hold a $5 flashlight from Wal-Mart, will you really have 6 hands in order to hold a gun, reload, call 9-1-1, carry a child, open a door AND hang onto a flashlight? Fact: Evil prefer darkness. This take away that advantage in a instant. Yes..yes...it's not easy to carry a pistol with a light, for a number of reasons. However, every rifle should have a white light and every pistol that is not normally carried on your person should have one, too. I can hear the keyboards clicking already. "But won't this light give away my position?". Yes, it will. But so will your gunfire a split second after the light goes on. Also, 1) In all likelihood, the adversary already knows where you are and is preparing to engage you while you are still trying to identify/assess the threat in darkness. 2) This light is crazy-bright and will blind anyone at close range for a few seconds 3) you don't need to (and shouldn't) leave it on all the time you are facing possible threats. It can be turned on just before firing in order to absolutely confirm your target is a threat 4) get some training on how to use it properly. BTW, you still need a hand-light light, because it's not polite/smart to use a gun as a flashlight unless you may need to shoot what is illuminated. So, don't use a weapon-mounted light to look for a puppy in the park or a kitten in a neighbor's tree. Last point, you can put this in your pocket and use it as a hand-held, but don't think you are going to attach it to something shooty during the 4 second bullet swap in which you might need it. ... show more
