This flashlight is an absolute tank and has really surprised me. I lost this thing back in January 2025 and have looked for it over the span of it missing until today in July 2026 and could never find it so I gave up eventually. I found it outside underneath my building today after looking to see if there was any debris buildup after the great flood we just had and could not believe it. It has survived through all the heat, erosion wear and the bone chilling winters we have had in West Virginia since then. I was shocked whenever I turned on the light to see if it would work and it worked like it was brand new. Recently, my town got hit by a very hard storm and has been flooding really bad everywhere and we are still in a state of emergency at the moment. Our yard was underwater and everything and it even survived all of that. I have to say to stream light you guys should be very proud of this product. For those of you that are considering buying one of these pull the trigger you will not regret it. The price is steep for a flashlight, but it is worth it to have something as reliable and durable as this product. As someone who carries every day and goes camping and hiking a lot having something that can be resilient to all elements is an awesome must have. I also have another TRL-1 that I carry on my Ruger RXM or my 10mm 1911 and it’s been great too. I am going to clean up the FDE one up good and continue to use it and will eventually change the batteries in it once these ones die out. I will never buy another light from another company after today. ... show more

Color: Flat Dark Earth Brown Style: with Rail Locating Keys
The Streamlight TLR‑1 HL is widely regarded as one of the most reliable, high‑value weapon lights on the market, and the evidence from operator field reports, expert reviews, and large‑scale customer data strongly supports that reputation. In short: it’s bright, durable, intuitive to use, and proven under hard use, with a few minor drawbacks you should be aware of. ⭐ Overall Takeaway The TLR‑1 HL delivers 1,000 lumens, a tight but usable flood pattern, excellent durability, and intuitive ambidextrous controls. It’s a top performer for home defense, duty use, and general tactical applications — especially at its price point. Streamlight TLR-1 HL LED Rail-Mounted Tactical Flashlight Current price: $152.78 $152.78 Details Track price Streamlight TLR-1 HL LED Rail-Mounted Tactical Flashlight Current price: $152.78 $152.78 Details Track price 🔦 Performance & Brightness 1,000 lumens / 20,000 candela gives strong target identification and temporary subject disorientation. Beam pattern balances throw and spill well — tight enough for distance, wide enough for situational awareness. Rated 283 m throw distance, making it effective outdoors as well as indoors. 🛠️ Durability & Reliability Built from 6000‑series machined aluminum, IPX7 waterproof, and drop‑tested. Documented to survive high‑round‑count recoil (including 20,000 rounds in one operator report). Long-term users report no functional failures even after months of training and home‑defense use. 🎯 Ergonomics & Controls Ambidextrous rocker switch is widely praised as more intuitive under stress than paddle-style competitors. Easy activation even with gloves. Strobe mode available for disorientation in defensive scenarios. 🔧 Mounting & Compatibility Ships with multiple rail keys: Glock, Picatinny (MIL‑STD‑1913), Beretta 90two, S&W SW99/TSW, SIG P320. Fits most full‑size and compact duty pistols. Secure mounting, though some users report clamp loosening under extreme hard use. ⚠️ Known Drawbacks These aren’t dealbreakers, but worth noting: Battery door can break if mishandled. No master on/off switch (some prefer this for transport). CR123A batteries only — no rechargeable option. No mode memory — always starts in default mode. ... show more

    • Flawless function, easy to mount

This unit comes with the Glock spacer installed and it was a perfect fit for my M&P9 M2.0 5 inch in FDE with that spacer. I wanted the activation tabs to be on either side of the trigger guard without poking out into it and the fit was outstanding. The activation tabs are 1/32 of an inch from being even with the inside of the trigger guard which means that they are easy to access with either hand and unobtrusive to the trigger finger. The end of the light is within 1/16 of an inch from being even with the end of the 5" barrel and exactly even with the end of the slide. There are 5 other spacer inserts if you want yours mounted closer or further away, but the Glock one was perfect for my gun. The "FDE" color on this item is more of a dirty gold than FDE, but the color matching is closer than the M&P slide to it's grip and the color is not as important as the fit and function. This item is easy to activate and unlike the opinions of some people, it is not easy to accidentally actuate. If you're one of the people that juts their support hand thumb out forward along the side of a pistol's slide, then I imagine any weapon mounted light would have trouble with inadvertent activation, but I am not one of those people. Personally, my left thumb rides on top of my right one, providing extra support and staying out of the way. The hot spot and spill on this light are better than my Elzetta Bravo. From 10ft away, the spill can illuminate all of a 15 ft wall in front of me with a 48-60" hot spot in the center. I have programmed out the strobe feature on mine (10 clicks downwards on left side) because the momentary-on function is what I would mainly use in a self-defense scenario and I don't want to accidentally strobe. This is definitely a 5-star item and a great deal for the price. (same goes for the gun @ $350) Pictures are of the M&P9 M2.0 5 inch FDE with attached TLR-1 HL also in FDE with the Glock spacer. ... show more
